Likes

Infrastructure- The infrastructure of the college is great
Faculty- There are regular classes held and the faculty is well educated
Fees- It is an affordable college since the fee structure is not very high.

Dislikes

College life- The college life is not that great.
Opportunities- Since it is an off campus college, one gets less opportunities as compared to other campuses.

Course Curriculum Overview

BCom Hons is a popular course here and the college offers not great but decent placements. Also, the faculty is decent and regular classes are held here. Most of the teachers have a PhD degree or have completed their master's.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are not very high since it is a govt college, however, it is one of the highest at Delhi University. The fee for 1 year for Bcom Hons is 28500 and the fee for BMS is 45000 approximately. It is an affordable course

Campus Life

The infrastructure of the college is good compared to other colleges around Delhi University. However, the sports facilities are not that great since most of them are not available to students. The campus life is not that great since its an off-campus college

Admission

It is an off-campus college in Pitampura, near the NSP metro station. It has good rankings for commerce courses, especially BCom and BMS and being a part of Delhi University gives an added advantage. However, since it is an off-campus college, the opportunities here are limited and one always feels this insecurity of not being in North campus. It has great infrastructure and sports facilities as compared to other colleges. It has a cricket ground but it is on lease to a coaching academy so it's of no use to the students, since we are not allowed there. It has regular classes. You might feel the dominance of minorities if you are from a general category. If you get a college on the north campus or a good college on the south campus, I would say don't opt for this college

Underrated College of DU!

Placement Experience:

Students from 3rd year onwards may sit for placements. There are several companies visiting our college for placements, such as Zomato, Tech Mahindra, EY, MagicPin, etc. My plans after getting the degree personally include pursuing a PG degree.

A Balanced College Experience with Supportive Faculty

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculam is well-structured and covers all the core subject relevant to the field . It help in building strong theroritcial knowledge but lacks enough real-world case studies and industry exposure . Exam are conducted regularly and are of moderate difficulty . Adding more project-based or skill oriented components would make the course more practical and beneficial for placements or higher studies .

Placement Experience:

When students enter 3rd year of their college , they are eligible to sit for placements but should have minimum 8 CGPA .A lot of companiess visit campus , details of companies are on the website of college.The highest placement till now is 20 Lakhs per Annum and average goes around 6-7 Lakhs per Annum. A decent percentage of students get placed. Honestly most students here are pursuing professional courses so they don't sit for placements instead continue with their courses .

Why DU has the best college life

Placement Experience:
