Course Curriculum Overview
I am currently pursuing my major in Psychology at Jesus and Mary college and it has been a very fulfilling experience academically since JMC has a major focus on academics and research. Teachers use several teaching methods visuals/activity based etc. to keep the classes interactive and engaging and also provide us with ample material for our exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is quite reasonable. The price varies from 15,000-17,000. I am not exactly aware of the scholarships since I did not avail of any but the internship opportunities and job opportunities that provided us with stipend were also independent of JMC.
Campus Life
JMC as a college is extremely academically oriented. As much as they focus on academics, they also focus on enhancing other skills of a student by giving a plethora of societies to choose from and participate in. There is a great deal of learning and unlearning and appreciating the diverse crowd that comes here. The annual fest is called Montage. The library is an ocean of books and knowledge in our college and it covers all sections that one may want to read.
Admission
The Admission process was quite easy. There was one common portal for all Delhi University colleges and applicants had to apply to their respective courses through that. The only difference with Jesus and Mary college is that it also asked the applicants to fill up a separate form for JMC. There was no entrance for it, Reservation is provided to Christian students, SC, ST, and OBC.
