I gave the online exam DU jat and selected colleges ranking from 1 to 14 this college Sri guru Gobind Singh college of commerce was my second priority. In the exam, I didn't get enough scores to get my priority was SRCC and also I got admission to the 2nd rank college because I applied Sikh quota. I got admission to this college in the 6th cutoff after roaming 4 colleges, the admission process here was very quick and everything was done by laptops or pcs. Coming into the college, We were guided to a separate room where college volunteers that were mainly 2nd and 3rd yr students guided us regarding the documents we require. They helped us arrange documents in order of how and when they have to be submitted. Our 12th results were then verified by a teacher on the laptop, followed by other documents and eligibility criteria. This was followed by giving us our roll number for the college and then we were directed to a room where we got out new email id with the college as the domain that is pre requisite for logging in into the college app SMARTPROFF SGGSCC that records our attendance, marks and other notices. So my rank was 239 in DU JAT and I was getting every college except SSCBS which is ranked 1. I had an option to choose from Keshav, DDUC and SGGSCC. Although google showed me Keshav and DDUC are better than SGGSCC but I still went there because the crowd is excellent(no SC/ST) plus infrastructure is one of the best in Delhi, the faculty here is highly skilled and really supportive, located in pritampura which is close to my house, the placements here are descent enough(value for money is high),also I asked a few of my friends who are studying in SGGSCC and SSCBS and all of them said SGGSCC is much more highly ranked than Keshav and DDUC. The reason I found google ranking it below them for BMS was SGGSCC has started this course 3 years later only and So I decided to go for this college.
