Remarks
The eligibility of the course depends upon the factor that you are able to clear the cutoff which is made on the basis of class 12th percentage. For the Sikh minority and reserved category students, cutoffs are generally on the lower side. The application form is filled out only once on the Delhi University website and on the release of the cutoff list, if you clear the cutoff you can apply for the course in the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I had chosen bachelor of commerce because it was a fairly easy course in comparison to the other courses being offered by the college. The faculty-student ratio is approximately 1 teacher for 50 students, according to my observation. The faculty is good. Professors are dedicated to taking classes and try to make them as interesting as possible. The course curriculum is slightly redundant as to what we are studying in the course doesn't have full-on practical application.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities available with our college are majorly told to students by the placement cell. The flagship event of the placement cell, I-fair offers tons of internship opportunities to the students of the college. The companies offering internships in the recent fair were Chegg, Travclan, TheHindustan Times etc offering stipends ranging from 2000 to 12000.
Placement Experience
The placements of the college are on the good side. The average package of the college is 4,00,000 and the highest ever package has been 11, 00,000. The big 4s, Tresvista, and Google are some of the companies which have visited our college in the past.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of the college is affordable. However, if we compare the fee of the programmes offered in the college with other colleges of the university then the fee is slightly on the higher side. Otherwise, the fee is affordable. There are plenty of scholarships and financial assistance that the college offers to its students. Foreign students also get scholarships.
Campus Life
The campus of the college is very lively. The campus is full of greenery; plants and trees everywhere. The annual fest of the college is conducted in the month of January or February wherein popular artists and performers are called up. The college is very popular for its societies and the social groups/clubs. The classrooms are equipped with air conditioners but these have never been fully functional. The college library is pretty big and is full of books.
