Jesus and Mary College- Your home away from home!

The admission process entailed filling up the admission form of the University of Delhi first and then using the application number of it to fill the individual college form of Jesus and Mary college. JMC offers admission under all the different quotas along with a reservation for Christian students. The percentage cut-off differs yearly. For Psychology honors per se, the cut-offs are usually higher and there is no second list most of the time. An advantage of 1% is given to the students having psychology as one of their subjects in 11th & 12th.

The course and curriculum are appropriate to provide exposure to all the different aspects of the subject. The practical component provides the practical application of theoretical concepts. The faculty at JMC especially the Psychology Department is great and the teaching-learning process often entails discussions that go beyond the conventional textbook concepts.

The college has a placement cell providing internship opportunities, talks, webinars, and workshops in the initial years and preparing for placements since the 5th semester of the college. Companies like Accenture, Deloitte, Wipro, ITC Hotel, ICICI Bank, and many others visit the college for placement drives.

The fee for Psychology Honors is 16210 for 1 year. There are a couple of scholarships available for the economically weaker section and those good in academic performance. Apart from the fee concession, student financial aid, and the book bank scheme, the following scholarships are specific to psychology honors. The M. The annual fest of the college known as MONTAGE is conducted in the month of February each year. The psychology department has its own cultural fest named Catharsis, conducted in October. The classrooms are spacious and the college also has the facilities of smaller practical rooms, amphitheater, the multi-purpose hall, common room, gym, l-park, lockers, canteen, a 3-floor library, and a big football field among others. There are different student societies like ECHO, Nrityanjali, Tarannum, Mudra, Kahkasha, Panorama, ENACTUS, and many others apart from the college ones like NSS, NCC, JMCEP. The environment is wholesome.
