Remarks
I have chosen this course due to my marks, and top colleges are providing this course. I wish the college should improve the infrastructure, and students should be given many choices in general electives. Events are never-ending, and in a month there can be 2 or more events. Our campus is one of the smallest campuses in Delhi University. The crowd of our college has diverse people from all states in India, and students from South Africa, Nepal, Bangladesh, etc, are studying here, so you will get a lot of exposure. There are the nearest metro station and bus stop named Bhikaji Cama Place, which is 1 km away from college, and autos are also available here. DCAC is built in a residential area, so we are isolated, but nearby we have Sarjoni Nagar Market at a distance of 20-30 minutes. There are also Connaught Place, India gate and other places near the college. Our college offers many scholarships for students. There are many opportunities for extracurricular activities ranging from singing to trade.
Course Curriculum Overview
Very few teachers in our college are PhD holders, but all the teachers are helpful. You can easily approach them if you have doubts or other problems. They are knowledgeable, and most of them teach in an excellent way like spoon-feeding. The course curriculum is relevant, but it is not for industries.
Placement Experience
Around 10% of the students get placed. The highest salary package offered till now was 10 LPA for economic Hons student, the average salary package offered is around 3-4 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is around 2.5 LPA. None of the company is the top recruiter for the BA course, but the college offers placements. Maths students in BA programming are offered a job of B.Com and economics. Even Microsoft is visiting our college to recruit students from every course. Almost everyone is able to grab an internship in various firms like KMPY, EY, etc.
College Events
We have the usual facilities which every Delhi University college provides. We have a library, classrooms, etc. DCAC still doesn't have its own campus, and it is also small. The college doesn't provide a hostel. Our canteen serves a variety of food at an affordable price, which is tasty. There is a medical room which is equipped with all the basic facilities. DCAC provides football, cricket, basketball, table tennis, kabaddi and volleyball. We have many societies which can improve students' personality. You can also check on the college website.
