Course Curriculum Overview

4

Curriculum is outdated as most of engineering college in india exams most of the portion is similar to previous in mostly exams and difficult level is easy to moderate expect some subjects, difficulty mainly depends upon faculty to faculty who set's the paper and who check's the papers and frequency is like mid semester and end semester for every sem in gap for around 1.5-2 months and there are 2 semesters in every academic year.

Internships Opportunities

4

So there are various internship opportunities offered in our college during placement season for 3rd year's and that too with good stipend , companies like google, microsoft, deshaw, Texas Instruments, stripe , natwest, cisco, accenture, etc they even offer ppo to good performers after these 2 months. But to grab a oncampus internships it requires a good cgpa considered to be atleast 8+.

Placement Experience

3

Students who have completed there 4 sem are eligible to sit in campus placements to secure 2month summer internship and students who have completed there 6th sem are eligible to sit in campus placements to secure 6 month internship along with ppo or fulltime or direct fulltime opportunities. Around 70-80% students gets placed in tech branches and around 50-70% gets placed in core branches. My plan after degree are to join a fulltime offer.

Fees and Financial Aid

My fees for first year was 219000 and was increasing 10000 every year which is 229000 for second year ,239000 for third year, 246000 or 249000 for final year. There are multiple scholarship available like one given by Dtu itself and one was given by e-district both can go upto 100% fee waiver and also there are merit based scholarships like department toppers and 10 CGPA holders which is around 10000 for that year

Campus Life

5

Annual fest of dtu is engifest which general helds in February-march and technical fests are there too which are envictus, tech week, etc. There are ground for almost every sports expect swimming pools and here students come from very good levels like most of classes have atleast 1-2 district or state level players be it in badminton, cricket, football, etc. And there are multiple clubs and societies in our college

Admission

I chose dtu over other colleges because it offers me best combination of academic quality, practical exposure and good placement stats for my course ECE. I had applied to colleges like dtu, nsut, iiit-delhi and among them i was getting my desired branch in all of them so i chosed dtu because it is very close from my home.

Faculty

4

Some faculties are too chill and some are like if got them you are in danger. Chill one don't give backlog's until they have some personal issue with you or you are not even attempting for passing marks but some danger one's gives almost 40-50% class backlog. If i tell you there was one of our faculty M.S chaudhary sir who taught us signals and system and he give backlogs to around 25/60 students

Night Life

4

Good night life as i am day scholar i have not seen too much night life but as i stayed in campus during fest and events and exams too from that time i know our campus is very good in night. Library keeps opened all day and night durning exams but in regular its closing time is 9-10pm

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is decent enough. If you are from Tech and circutial branches you can expect package ranging around 12-30lpa, and other than this you can expect somewhere between 8-15lpa for other branches. Overall the placement is quite good.

Placement Experience:

The fifth semester students become eligible for campus placements. The College organise placement, registration and shortlisting based on academic performance and semester marks. Many well-known companies visit the campus for hiring every year, including both mass recruitment and profile based offers students get opportunities in core companies as well as IT and consulting firms, the highest package offered in recent years has been competitive, and the average package is decent for most . A good percentage of students manage to secure placement through campus drives, but it also depends on students preparation and skill level students also get internships into placement offers. If a student does not get a campus placement, there are still good options for employability students to prepare for off campus placement, government exams or higher studies like Masters. Overall the placement environment is active and give students affair chance to start their careers.

Hmm , the course structure designed by them is very accurate and they first teach that course and then make compulsory to attend lab of same course in coming semester, this ensures that whatever we have learnt , we can apply that in real life as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is really very good, its updated and far better than even many renowned institutes. Along with your core CS subjects, there is also a minor stream which you'll have to select. The minor streams that they offer are Management, Computational Biology and Electronics. Students can enroll in any one based upon their preferences.
