Remarks

Because of the university it is affiliated to, i.e. the Delhi University. Plus this is the best college for this course. And as I was more inclined towards business, economics and management, I decided to choose this college.

The course is superb and covers various dimensions of the different subjects. The faculty is good and is well-versed with the subject. There are 40+ societies in the college to develop your curricular areas.

College Events

The campus life is great here with different events going on each day. Sometimes some art festival, or some management event by some society. The annual cultural fest is also a huge one all around DU with a footfall of 10000+ students.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides financial aid to financially weak students which ranges from 4k- 7k a year. Other than that, there are several scholarships available to students who excel at academics, sports or the divinity.

Campus Life

There are around 5-6 computer labs, three storey library, shooting range, basketball court, a huge cricket ground, a massive auditorium and a beautiful Gurudwara. The college is built on around 1000 acres of land.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Too vague to understand, feels extra burden of unnecessary irrelevant topics , extra papers like SEC/VAC simply add to the burden while barely providing with any skills and values as their name suggests . Studying them and preparing for exams add extra stress and unnecessary burden on them , diverting their focus from their core papers , which are already too huge and they study materials or readings simply fail to assist . Areas for improvement would be - proper structured study materials , also proper structured practical subjects / papers for students where they can actually learn or gain knowledge/skills which will be advantageous in their future .

Placement Experience:

SRCC has one of the best campuses and our basketball court is so famous that many movies too have been promoted and shot there. Our campus is big too and our auditorium is such that many top personalities have come and spoken there. Even leaders like Barrack Obama too had an interaction with SRCC students in an open air event.
