Course Curriculum Overview

5

Economics driven world is where in we live in and therefore there's no point dwelling on other things. It's lovely that our curriculum preapres us in such a way that we have the choice to finish it off in three years or if we want we can take the classes for fourth year and do some researches and take the much covered Hons Degree.

Internships Opportunities

5

HUL, HAL, and various other companies which are from PSU sectore are the ones which have provided us internships opportunities. The colleges internships cell is very much connected with PSU companies and therefore it's mostly the PSU companies which gives Internships opportunities to our students.

Placement Experience

5

SRCC has one of the best campuses and our basketball court is so famous that many movies too have been promoted and shot there. Our campus is big too and our auditorium is such that many top personalities have come and spoken there. Even leaders like Barrack Obama too had an interaction with SRCC students in an open air event.

Fees and Financial Aid

SRCC is indeed the most promising colleges or DU and therefore fees is slightly more than the others and still it is 32500 a year for BA Economics (Hons). For students of SC/ST category the fees is just 15000 or so a year and even for OBC students it's around 20k a year.

Campus Life

5

For me crossroads have been one of an experience which was life defining moment. It was so big and amazing that twice of which I have been a part of so far is probably one of the things which I miss miss the most about my college.

Admission

SRCC requires maximum cut-off and I had 99.4 percentile so I put SRCC first in the list. So, if I was rejected from SRCC, i would have chosen LSR as it was my second option. However, because I got my first choice college i myself rejected the other colleges.

Faculty

5

Lord like professors are there at SRCC and no one can deny this as almost all the professors here are too easy going. This is one of the best quality which defines real teaching because we all know studies are tough. However, if one can help us sail through that then there's nothing else that one wants.

Night Life

5

One of the best tourist attractions close to our campus is Phir Ghalib which was home of famous poet Mirza Ghalib. Also, we have Tree Cafe and likewise various top cafes close to our college. The best though is that we have bus stop and metro close to our college.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are available for all semesters but the offers are more the students in third year. The offers came form many reputed companies like Deloitte, EY, NSDC and more. The highest packages offered were 24 LPA. Almost 75 to 80 percent students got the campus placement. I did not sit for the placement as I was beginning my preparation for UPSC.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For psychology everything is good, the course the topics everything is very real world applications based. However there is less scope for it in india but in abroad one can do well. I really like learning about mental disorders, they open a new world to me and a better understanding of the people with disabilities. For Areas of improvement all i can suggest is giving lesser readings, since there is a lot of readings to cover it becomes a headache for some students. Also there shoulf be more practical based subjects rather thsn just theory ones.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum I took is okay considering the low placement percentage from the college's side which is I would say sometimes bad and good at the same time as the students can find their own way around such things. Faculty just complete the topics. we have to study ourselves.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of my college is very active. They hold internships round the year and provide reliable placement at the end of last year. Placement mainly depends upon per student skill rather than the course variability and considering most of the humanities courses are less employable if taken only on the basis of course. However skills are the main deciding factor
