Course Curriculum Overview

5

I would rate the B.Com (Hons.) curriculum at SRCC as very good, both in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. One of the main reasons I chose this course was its strong focus on accounting, finance, and business concepts, which are essential for careers in commerce, finance, and management. The curriculum also offers some flexibility through electives, which allows students to explore areas like taxation, auditing, economics, and analytics.

Internships Opportunities

5

Internships are a big part of the SRCC experience, and the college has a strong network of recruiters and alumni who help students get exposure to both corporate and startup environments. Most internships happen around the 5th semester, but students often start looking earlier, depending on their interests.

Placement Experience

5

Honestly, placements at SRCC are really strong, and that’s one of the main reasons everyone wants to study here. Most students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th or 6th semester, and usually, the internships you do in the 5th semester also help you get a final offer later.

Fees and Financial Aid

For me the first year fee was 100000 rs afterwards 2nd it is 55000 but it does vary for the people as people from general have to pay 34000-35000 every year and for the sc st it's ig 1000-1500 something and for the ews it's merely 90

Campus Life

5

My overall experience at SRCC has been really enriching, not just academically but also socially. The college offers a great balance between studies, extracurriculars, and social life, which makes campus life very engaging.

Admission

I chose Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) primarily because of its reputation, faculty, placement record, and overall learning environment. Honestly, when you think about commerce courses in India, SRCC is always on top of the list – it’s widely recognized for excellent academic standards, strong industry connections, and great opportunities for internships and extracurriculars.

Faculty

4

Honestly, the faculty at SRCC is really strong. The student-to-faculty ratio is around 20–25 students per professor, which is pretty good for a college of this size. Most teachers are very approachable if you have doubts, they’ll take the time to explain, give extra guidance, or even help with career advice. A lot of them also bring real-world examples into class, which makes understanding concepts much easier.

Interview Experience

5

In the case of SRCC, for my course there wasn’t a Group Discussion or Interview round like you usually see in MBA or PG programs. The admission was purely merit-based through CUET (Common University Entrance Test), which is now the main gateway for UG admissions.

Night Life

3

Honestly, SRCC isn’t exactly a “party” campus in the nightlife sense, but there’s still a lot for students to do and places to hang out after classes. Most of the college facilities like the library, gyms, and cafeterias close by 6–7 PM, so the campus itself winds down early. Hostels are usually quiet by 10–11 PM, though common rooms and indoor sports areas give some space to relax.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are decent but not very high compared to North Campus colleges.Students usually become eligible for placements in the final year with decent cgpa and good skills. Some companies visit the campus for roles in sales, marketing, finance and HR. The average package is moderate and only a limited percentage of students get placed through campus. Many students prefer internships during college to gain experience and earn extra money. Some also plan for higher studies like MBA or prepare for competitive exams which I also do I personally plan to gain work experience first, earn some money and then go for higher studies. Overall, placements are average but hopefully they will increase in future.

Placements are quite well . Most of the students are placed with the average package of 4-5 LPA . Companies like KPMG , Deloitte, Pwc and many more come to college and offer students. And with the time the placement cell of the college also conduct an event regarding placement and intership which approaches around 200-250 companies to come and give an opportunity to our students.

The highest package of my college is 36 lakh per annum from bcom H programme. The placement is very nice from my collegem the average package is 6.7 lakh per annum and the median package is around 8 lakh per annum which is very good in my views. But if the students is not focusing in his academic then no college can give him placement, it's just a exception. The students become elegible for placements after 2nd year and before 3rd year basically they just got PPO that is preplacement offer. Bain & co. , de shaw , Accenture , oyo, Swiggy.
