Remarks

Only negative remark is on campus placement. Although the off campus and pool campus placement rate are good.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good, every course has labs, and good infrastructure. Exam structure is also good, moreover we don't have to go anywhere other than our college for exam.

College Events

College helds tech fest, cultural fest, alumni fest, newcomers fest, and many puja occasions, sports matches. And participation is so high in them.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college has 100% scholarships for deserving students. And also have some partial loans for more students. And also anyone can take educational loan from any bank.

Campus Life

Labs are good and well equipped, workshops are being organised by authority and students. Gender ratio is 1girl: 6boys. There are so many clubs to join both technical-educational and cultural. Student society is so much diverse, students from many states and even from foreign come to this college. Students from every ethnicity, every religion and race come and study peacefully. There is zero politics in our college.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel room are so spacious. There are 4 bed and 2 bed rooms, you can take, whatever you want. And there are PGs and flats and hostels around the college in case you don't want to take college hostels.

External Expense: Rs. 2000 - Rs. 4000

Alumni/Alumna

It has a good alumni network, they are very much helpful, and even they come into our college on various seminar and other occasions.

Admission

I got here through my WBJEE rank. And I chose this course because it has higher placement rate and enthroprenurship rate in my college.

Faculty

It has good faculty members from renounced institutes like IITs and NITs.

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Elegibility for placement-Generally students become elligible for campus placement in their 7th semester or 8th semester and there might be some prerequisties such as minimum CGPA must be 6-7 with no bachlogs Internship and pre-placement offers-many companies offer internships during the 6th semester or 7th semester and successful interns may receive pre-placement offers if their performance is good. Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

UIT, Burdwan review about placement, infrastructure and hostels
