Dear Students,

India is entering a defining technological decade one where the country is not just learning artificial intelligence but actively shaping its future. Marking a historic milestone in higher education, Dayananda Sagar University (DSU) has announced a pioneering collaboration with NVIDIA at India’s AI Summit in Delhi to establish India’s first Academic AI Factory—a transformative ecosystem unlike anything previously seen in Indian academia.

This initiative represents a bold transition: from studying AI concepts to engineering intelligent systems that can solve real-world challenges.

What does this mean for you?

Beyond the classroom

Students will gain access to cutting-edge computing infrastructure, including 20 NVIDIA Blackwell nodes powering 160 GPUs and delivering ultra-high AI compute performance. This enables hands-on opportunities to train large language models, develop intelligent applications, and experiment with advanced AI frameworks at scale—capabilities typically reserved for leading global research labs.

The “Central Brain” ecosystem

At DSU, AI will function as a unified intelligence layer connecting multiple domains. Students can design, train, and deploy AI for robotics, autonomous systems, smart manufacturing, and next-generation digital platforms—bridging theory with deployment.

Democratizing intelligence across disciplines

The Academic AI Factory dissolves traditional academic boundaries. AI will seamlessly integrate with cyber defense, mechanical engineering, augmented and virtual reality, healthcare diagnostics, and more—empowering interdisciplinary innovation and collaborative problem-solving.

At DSU, the walls between disciplines are coming down. Whether your passion lies in engineering, medicine, law, management, journalism, design, computer applications, or emerging technologies, you now have access to world-class infrastructure to build impactful AI solutions for society and industry.
