Dayananda Sagar University Eligibility Criteria
Applicants are required to hold a UG or PG in regular, full-time mode, a postgraduate degree in Engineering, Sciences, Commerce, Management, Health Sciences, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the relevant statutory authority, with at least 55% aggregate marks. (A 5% relaxation in marks is applicable for SC, ST, OBC (NCL), PwD candidates).
Dayananda Sagar University Selection Criteria
Admission to the Doctoral programme will be based on an entrance test, conducted by the institute, followed by an interview. Candidates who have qualified for UGC-JRF, UGC-NET, UGC-CSIR JRF, UGC-CSIR NET, SLET, or GATE can request exemption from the entrance exam.
In an interview, the candidate will be evaluated based on knowledge, understanding of relevant literature, and awareness of current research trends in the chosen domain. Final selection is based on the rank list prepared from the combined performance in both the Entrance Test and the Interview. (70% weightage for the entrance test and 30% for the performance in the interview).
