What are the BTech eligibility criteria in Odisha?

What is the BTech counselling 2025 in Odisha?
For BTech admission in Odisha, you have to appear in the counselling process conducted by the OJEE. You will be allotted a seat based on your JEE Main 2025 score, college preference and the availability of seats. The OJEE counselling consists of the following processes.
- Registration.
- Choice Filling.
- Seat Allotment.
- Document Verification.
- College Reporting and Admission.
The general counselling steps are as follows.
- After registration, you can proceed with the choice filling of your preferred colleges.
- You must ensure before locking the choices. Once locked, no alterations can be made.
- If you do not lock your choices, your last exercised choices will be locked automatically.
- You should take a printout of the locked choices for future reference.
- After choice filling, a seat allotment result will be published on the official website.
- You can view your allotment and choose to freeze or float the option for a seat upgrade.
- To accept the allotted option, upload the required documents and pay the part admission-cum-seat acceptance fee, failing which will cancel the allotment.
- Documents are verified automatically or by an officer. Issues are notified and you should resolve them within the given time.
- If you fail to resolve the document-related issue, your verification will be cancelled and the allotted seat will be withdrawn.
- Allotment will be cancelled if documents are not provided. You can reapply in the next rounds based on vacancies with a revised profile.
- You can also withdraw from the allotted seat using the withdraw option. Your part admission-cum-seat acceptance fee will be refunded.
- After paying the part admission-cum-seat acceptance fee and document verification, you can download the final allotment letter and report at the allocated college.
The counselling follows the option-based upgradation system, where your position can remain the same or upgrade in the next round. You should wait for the final allotment which takes into account the upgradation and then report to the finally allotted college. Vacant reserved category seats after the allotment are transferred to the general category.
If you fail to report at the allocated college, your allotment will be cancelled and the vacant seat will be filled in the subsequent rounds/institute-level rounds. If you do not get any seat in round 1, you will be considered for round 2 with your choice list as of round 1. You must give consent to modify the choices in round 2. If the allotment is cancelled, you can give consent to modify choices in the next round.
To confirm the admission, choose the freeze or float option, pay the part admission-cum-seat acceptance fee and upload the required documents. You can check the amount in the following table for different categories.

The part admission-cum-seat confirmation fee will be fortified if you fail to report at the allocated institute. Therefore, you should withdraw during the specified period if you do not wish to repost at the allocated institute.
