In India, there are more than 5828 Engineering and Technology colleges. AICTE also states that there are 2897 BTech/BE Colleges in India with an annual intake capacity of 12 Lakh students per year. UP, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu have the most BTech/BE Colleges in India.
Most BTech colleges are found in states like Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, UP, Delhi, Andhra Pradesh etc. The lowest fees for BTech start at approximately INR 1000 for the whole coursework.
