Daulat Ram College Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Anyone can sit for the placement from last semester. One just needs to have a strong CV, good communication skills, and a strong personality. Students rarely register themselves for placement after graduation. They are more focused on getting higher education. The top recruiting companies were paytm, bajaj, vipro, phonepay, justdial and mahindra and the best roles offered are in the field of finance and data handelling,research work and finance manager. The highest salary package usually offered is 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 to 4.5 LPA. Students from BCOM honors get most of the good salary offers.

I chose this course as I was interested in political science since school. The faculty of our department is one of the best in the college. They are rightly qualified and well-behaved. The teaching method, if not interrupted by the pandemic, is absolutely flawless. Daulat Ram College is very serious about exams though. They are taken at regular intervals, despite everything though they are not so difficult to pass.

Mostly there are no such eligibility criteria everyone is seeking skills that are required for the work to be done so be multitasking in whatsoever you wanna do, companies like we settle, and many offer jobs and even fellowships. Packages are approximately 10 lac I think tats less but are minimum. Get a decent percentage in grads and you will be from 5%/of population of college students getting a high package at the minimum age. Plans to do master or follow your dream jobs.

Internship for students with paid and unpaid one. Only for final year students. It is available For every department. Stipend based on the type of internship. Placement with best companies with an interview round.

1st year, Decent Companies like Wipro, Colgate, Coco Cola , NGOs like umeed , Muskurahat offer placements in the college. Rest, Since, we are Political Science students mostly our focus is on higher studies so there is very less involvement with placement cell :)

The college has a Placement cell that takes students from their final years. Many good companies like Wipro, Microsoft, Colgate, Coca-cola etc. come for placement. Package ranges between 4 lakhs to 7 lakhs per annum. Many NGOs also hire interns for 2 to 3 months internship, which helps to develop personality, creativity, confidence and hence, boost your CV. Well, I'm not interested in getting placement from college. I will pursue a masters in higher education after graduation.

The reason I choose Daulatram over other colleges which I was getting, was because of their excellent political science department, confirmed by ex graduates. This was of course turned out to be the professor's are really great so is the curriculum. we had 50 marks internals which seemed unfair qt the beginning as no other college conducts exams for internals but later on, I realised it was beneficial as we were covering half the syllabus for internals so there wasn't a lot of pressure during the finals.

I'm pursuing B. A. (H) in political science, so the scope is on my choice. There is a placement cell for the commerce department. But for theory-like subjects, we have to search for jobs by own. There are plenty of options for which I could go ahead. Although placement is not provided by the college there are many jobs after completing this course. I'm preparing for UPSC and doing social works by joining many foundations and NGOs that work for spreading education and promoting women empowerment and child development. There is where my satisfaction lies.

From 1st year only students become eligible for campus placement. Though they won't get higher packages . In their third year, they may get packages upto 20 lacs. We have a placement cell in our College that brings more than 30 companies every year and they select skilled and creative students.

Exams are always taken twice a year these are called semester exams. But thought the year there will be a class test or unit test to check our performance. The semester exams are a little tough but if you are a hardworking student and you have at least attempted all the 4 questions out of 8, you surely will pass. If you have written all the answers nicely you will secure sgpa between 7-8.
