Remarks

The only reason for not attending any other college was I always wanted to be in Delhi University's north campus because it has more opportunities and exposure than others. I didn't avail any quota I belong to the general category and not good at sports. Minimum marks were 95% and age I don't have an idea. Counseling days were quite good I looked at my college for the first time.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is dynamic and the most interesting one. 2:50, faculty are so great professors are highly qualified in their teaching field and are mostly frank also guides very well. Methods are quite different once as compared to schools. 6 months one semester. Question papers are not that tough but to get an edge be prepared with previous year's question papers.

Class Size: 110Course Fees: INR 13000 per year

Internships Opportunities

We settle stipends for internships to be 10000 but if we talk about various placements I don't have ideas that much. Projects when we do in grads or masters with our professors we can earn well and will get extra edge under them.

Placement Experience

Mostly there are no such eligibility criteria everyone is seeking skills that are required for the work to be done so be multitasking in whatsoever you wanna do, companies like we settle, and many offer jobs and even fellowships. Packages are approximately 10 lac I think tats less but are minimum. Get a decent percentage in grads and you will be from 5%/of population of college students getting a high package at the minimum age. Plans to do master or follow your dream jobs.

Fees and Financial Aid

13000 study cost, 10,000 living in PG or hostels. Some good internships can help you earn money approx 15000 months but needs to be good at skills. I don't know much about scholarships. It's not that discussed before.

Campus Life

MANJARI is your college's annual fest and cyber cell fest is also conducted. There is a department fest that is organized at the end of the year each department is given a day. Books are so good in the library, our library has AC AND also a spacious library. Classrooms are so many it's a huge building. The sports ground is a large one and many students from other colleges come to play and for NCC practice. We have a gym also and a good sports team for every game. I'm currently part of many societies and clubs eg. Cyber cell of DRC, NSS sec, tedxdrc, and many more.

It's an all girls college so it's so comfortable as it is away from male gaze.

The prices in canteen is very high with low quality food.
I dislike the thing that a few professors favour some fix students.

A Day at College

Likes

Affordable fee structure that makes higher education accessible to students from different financial backgrounds.
Flexible learning system, allowing students to manage their studies alongside other responsibilities.
Opportunity to pursue a degree from delhi university through open and distance learning.

Dislikes

Limited opportunities for regular classroom interaction and face to face engagement with teachers and fellow students.
Students pursuing distance learning may need to rely more on self-study and independent preparation
More regular communication, student support, and interactive academic activities would improve the overall learning experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA English Honours curriculum at DU SOL is relevant and provides a strong foundation in literature and language. The course covers diverse topics that support academic learning and critical thinking. The flexible structure is suitable for distance-learning students. Adding more practical activities, updated study materials, and interactive learning opportunities could further improve the overall course experience.

Overall best

Likes

My college was a girl's college. There are maximum 60students in a class. Prints were quite cheap in the college cafe.
There were many fest functions in my college. I also participated in the dance fest in my first year. We also used to go on picnics from college.
India's chief guest at the annual function was M Venkaiah Naidu.

Dislikes

College fees were very high for general category people.
The behavior of many teachers was quite rude and arrogant as if they were teaching us for free.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to do PhD in Political Science but due to percentage I took up BA program. Teachers used to provide notes but mostly I used to be off. There was nothing wrong with the college. Exam timings were good.

M.A. POLITICAL SCIENCE IN DRC

I applied to jnu, du, pondicherry university, university of Hyderabad and bhu. I got in all of them except jnu. After jnu , i found du to be other great option for pursuing masters . There are multiple colleges in du itself and I got drc according to my preference and cutoff. I put drc on fifth preference and its a good choice considering its ranking and overall prestige. We have to give cuet pg exam , then apply to colleges we want to get in and then according to our marks ,preference list and cut-offs, colleges are allotted to us....Read More

college life

To be honest I only applied for Delhi University through CUET and I selected many colleges from DU like Miranda, Hansraj, Lady Shri Ram, Kirori Mal, many from the south and off campuses and in the first phase I got this college DRC and this course BA Programme English and History and I thought that this was an interesting course so that's why I chose this subject and college but if I could have upgraded my choices there was a chance that I could get seleced in other college but I chose to go with this option and some of my friends also got that college. I did not applieed for any other university/college except DU. To get to DRC college we have to attempt the CUET entrance exam from which we can get admission here by filling this college in your preference. For general category the cutoffs get so high for specifically north campus colleges, But as I belong to ST so that way it was a bit easier to get admission....Read More
