IISER Mohali Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I chose this college IISER Mohali because I like biology and want to become scientist in genetics field. IISERs have great research research faculties and also here faculties are itself scientists which are working on their particular field.

My main reason to choose IISER Mohali was because my cousin was already studying there and one of my friend have cleared kvpy and he was going to take admission in IISER Mohali so I also choose IISERM and that's why I gave IAT exam and luckily get admission in IISERM.

Its Infrastructure, facilities, faculty and nice location are the dominating factors which force me to choose IISER Mohali to fulfill my dream. Parents and teacher advice and guidance was also there.

I have chosen this college because this college is one of the best college in the field of basic science and in research are. This college has good alumni rate in foreign universities such as MIT, University of California etc. Its professors also have PhDs and post docs from these universities. IISER Mohali has very good infrastructure.

I was interested in pursuing research and was not inclined towards 9-5 boring job so thought of opting for PhD rather than getting normal B.Tech. degree. I am interested in teaching as IISER is know best for its skills of teaching.

I was quite interested in basic science & what intrigued me the most was that for two years we were taught all the four disciplines which was adequate time to choose a major discipline for the Masters. Also, the curriculum at IISER also include the humanities courses (detailed & a variety) so one also gets an exposure beyond science.
