- The campus environment is quite good. Seniors here are quite helpful.
- We get good research environment and curiosity is encouraged by professors and peers.
Dislikes
- The mess food is not the best in comparison to the price charged.
- The campus is located in a very hot and polluted region.
Faculty:
The faculty here are quite good at there work, be it research or teaching. Interaction with the professors regarding any kind of problems are always welcomed. The teaching method varies from professor to professor but on average it's quite good. Professors do help in there free times or office hours during any problem and all kind of questions are entertained. They are quite friendly with the students.
Likes
- I love the idea of co-ed hostels in the campus. The environment it provides end all kind of discrimination from region to religion and gender.
- The proffesor of the institute are very friendly and engaging. They meet abd talk with us even after official time and always willing to help
Dislikes
- The lack of helpfulness of Admins of university is really disappointing, from supporting students welfare to caring about their health
Faculty:
IISER Mohali has one the best faculty in India. There are 97 faculty memeber from 6 different departments. and around 977 students, so the faculty to student ratio is 10 and one of the most significant among research institutes. Most of the proffesor has history of researching in internationally recognised lab or university around the globe. We have faculty of particle physicist from CERN to shanti swarup bhatnagar prize winner. All of the proffesors are well known faces of the leading research in not only India but world. The proffesors are famous to be very interactive and friendly here, they allow us to visit their lab and office more than official hours and interact very frequently. They guide us in understanding what;s right for our future research and work.

- Amazing campus, nice work environment, amazing connections and lab equipments. Good hostel independence and mess food
Faculty:
The faculty is very much effective and good, all have really good research background and are very helpful and approachable. Alot of proffs have an open door policy for students and can boost your academic career pretty well. I can interact with teachers any time I want, and there are alot of teachers suited for different fields of academia

- The social life is quite good and you have so much diversity here, people come from different parts of India
- Most faculties are quite good in teaching and almost all are doing active research
Dislikes
- The overall schedule of a student can become quite hectic
- Sometimes courses can be very high paced so you have to study hard, time management is the key
Faculty:
The faculties are quite good and have done a lot of work in their respective fields. They all are doing active research. Infact, special focus is on interdisciplinary research to keep up with the pace of growing world. Many of them have done their PhD and postdoc from renowned institutions of the world
Faculty:
The faculties are amazing, especially for biology. Other departments too are good but not the best. Most faculties are super friendly and will provide with any facility in their labs to do research experiments. Faculties also help you in connecting with labs abroad for internships.

The faculty are extremely welcoming to the students. Any and all questions are taken. They tell about their research with such enthusiasm that one falls in love with the subject all over again. You can visit their offices and labs almost any number of times for queries.

They are good like a family. They help a lot. They interact to student asked about probelm they help a lot to student and many more things are there. My opinion you get admission in this college. It’s a right choice.
Faculty:
All the faculties have PhDs in their subject also they have post doc degree. They teach very well just you have to attend class everyday and you will get the result. Also some faculties are really good. They give us some new ideas and tell some new and interesting things about that subject.

Faculty is very qualified to teach a particular course.Faculty is very interested.Eg if there are four lectures a week for a particular course so faculty will provide us 2 days of lecture 1 day of explaining the lab work of different area and the 1 days of tutorial.In tutorial,where we are allow to ask our questions
Faculty:
The faculty of the college is highly experienced and trained in research in there subject areas. Therefore the courses that they take is also in their interests which they teach really well. The labs are amazing and highly equipped with latest state of the art machinery.
