IISER Mohali Scholarship 2026

IISER Mohali offers several scholarship options, primarily the INSPIRE and KVPY scholarships. The INSPIRE Scholarship, provided by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), awards Rs. 5000 per month and an additional Rs. 20,000 annually for internships to students who rank in the top 1% of their board exams or secure a rank within the top 10,000 in JEE Advanced.

The KVPY Scholarship, which requires clearing the KVPY exam, offers Rs. 5000 monthly and a summer contingency fund. Additionally, state-level scholarships and merit-cum-means scholarships are available, particularly for economically weaker sections and reserved categories. Many students utilize bank loans facilitated by the on-campus Canara Bank, which offers concessions on loan interests.

The tuition fee is approximately Rs. 40,000-50,000 per semester, with variations based on category and financial assistance eligibility.
