The room has a 2 study rables, two beds, fan and 2 almirahs. For 2 years u have a roommate and then in 3rd year you get a single room. Meal is really good as there is a student run mess. The mess fee and other hostel facilities are easily available. Nurse and ambulance are also provided. The mess fee and other stuff is paid along with total fee.

Hostels are given in campus and are mandatory, the fees of which is included within the total fees and registration happens altogether during academic registration. Mess is operated by a cooperative mess and another by a contract mess, both of which are decent. Compared to other messes in the country our mess is quite good in terms of food and quality. 1st and 2nd years are given double occupancy rooms, and 3rd year onwards you get single rooms. All rooms have a balcony, a wardrobe, table and chair and a bed. No ACs though (although unofficially you can buy your own heaters/coolers). About 4 bathrooms in each floor with 24x7 hot water even in summers. Hostels are wing separated into girls and boys (unofficially people do indulge in wing crossing). Overall hostels are quite good in our institute, with decent fooding options (provided you get your food before 12 AM, after which you need to order from outside.)

Provided socked, study tube light too. 2000 per sem is the hostel seat rent. No other rent is charged. Food will cost around 4100 per month for subscription at student run mess.

Each room has its own balcony. We were provided a room in sharing, so the room had two beds, two mattresses, two study tables, two chairs and two cupboards. Although the mattresses were not provided to the new batch that came in 2024 this year. The food quality is generally good in both the messes, the student run mess and the tendered mess. Even if you don't like both of them, you have other options, such as canteens and a dhaba inside the campus. The campus is completely residential, so it is compulsory for us to stay in the hostel, with an exception for phd students who have an option of staying outside as well. So the registration process for hostel is done along with the admission process.

There is lan support and wifi support in room. We get double occupancy rooms in 1st and 2nd yr. From 3rd year we get single rooms. Meals are affordable and tasty. Hostel is mandatory for students and it is affordable.

The rooms in IISERM is provided with 2 almirah and cupboard. A table and chair, a bed with fan, lam and a beautiful bed lamp. It's a residential campus so students are not alowed to stay outside of the campus without serious medical condition. The food is served by Student run mess which has great quality and food are choosen by student committe and suggestions. The hotel rooms are provided with affordable prices and there's no problem of power or water cut. Washing Machine and lifts are there to make life easier with RO+UV water supply.

The hostels currently are very small to live in, new hostels are being made and will be finished by this year. The rent is very cheap, 720 for an entire year, which is included in your fees. Since this is a residential campus, BS-MS students are expected to live in hostels with some rare exceptions made by the Dean. Mess is a Student Run mess so it's pretty great as all demands are heard, quality of food is also kept and hygiene is kept as best as it can be.

The rooms are very good having 2 beds and a fan and 2 study tables. Food quality is also good as the institute already decided which products will be used in a mess so quality products are used and good food too. Hostel is mandatory and minimal fees are attached to academic fees.

Yes, I stay in hostel and it is compulsory to stay in hostel and also there is Co-ed hostels in the IISER Mohali means boys and girls have combined hostels and also common mess. There is pay and eat system in mess. For the first 2 years two students live together in single room and from 3rd year onwards they get separate single room. There is a health center in thy college.

There are total 4 hostels for students in the campus of 8 floors each and having combined hostels of boys and girls. Canteen in every hostel. Tv rooms are there. Every hostel has a mess which is also combined for boys and girls.
