The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) has opened a correction window for candidates who submitted their applications for IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2026. The correction window is available from April 16, 2026, 11:00 AM IST to April 18, 2026, 11:55 PM IST on the official admission portal.
Candidates can log in to their accounts and make necessary corrections to their application forms during this period.
The application portal for IAT 2026 closed on April 13, 2026, at 11:55 PM IST. This correction window provides candidates with a final opportunity to rectify any errors or omissions in their submitted applications before the test.
The IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2026 will be conducted on June 7, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon IST across all seven IISER campuses. Hall tickets for the examination will be released on May 24, 2026.

The application fee for IAT 2026 varies by category. Candidates applying under General, EWS, OBC, and OBC-NCL categories must pay ₹2,000.
Candidates from SC/ST categories, persons with disabilities (PwD), Kashmiri Migrants, Kashmiri Pandits, and Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrant) are required to pay ₹1,000.
Foreign national candidates must pay ₹12,000. The application fee is non-refundable and must be paid during application submission.
IISER offers diverse undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across seven campuses located in Berhampur, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram, and Tirupati. The primary programme is the 5-Year BS-MS degree available at all IISERs. IISER Kolkata offers a specialized 5-Year BS-MS in Computational and Data Sciences.
IISER Bhopal provides 4-Year B.Tech. programmes in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and Data Science & Engineering, along with 4-Year BS in Economic Sciences. IISER Tirupati offers a 4-Year BS in Economic and Statistical Sciences. IISER Mohali has introduced new majors in Geology and Environmental Sciences as part of its regular 5-Year BS-MS programme.
IISER IAT 2026 Seat Acceptance Fee

Candidates can withdraw their offers through the admission portal by pressing the "WITHDRAW OFFER" button. Withdrawal must be completed within the stipulated dates specified on the admission website. If a candidate withdraws before the Round-wise withdrawal (RW) deadline, no cancellation fee applies.
Withdrawals after the RW deadline but before the Final withdrawal (FW) deadline will result in deduction of the non-refundable amount. Once withdrawn, candidates cannot re-enter the admission process under any circumstances.

The refund of SAF will be processed to the bank account details provided by the candidate in the preference portal or through the same payment channel used for the initial payment. The refund process begins three weeks after the completion of the admission process.
Candidates who fail to join in-person at their allotted IISER on the specified joining date will be subject to cancellation fees as decided by the respective IISER.
