Infrastructure is good and well maintained
There is no ragging in the college which helps the juniors to get along

Dislikes

AC not available in every class room very challenging in the summers
Class timings are not convenient for the students who live far

The heritage college has an amazing campus life
there are a lot of clubs where students are highly encouraged to participate in , there are events taking place so the interaction between the juniors and seniors even among the different department students takes place

Exams are taken by my faculty and surprise tests are conducted to help us to get related with the new subjects like econometrics. International conferences are organised my the college which helps the student to get an opportunity to meet with people who work in the respective field

Likes

College provides a good environment for the students. All the teaching staffs are very responsible and completes the syllabus way before the examination. They help us a lot to understand the lessons well.
The canteen provides good quality food in a very affordable price. All the meals are very fresh and hygienic

Dislikes

There is a problem of attendance in this college. We the students should maintain an attendance of 60% minimum otherwise we will not be able to sit for the CU examination
There is a drinking water tap in the college in every floor beside the washroom, the students always use the taps for washing hands and faces . It is not the fault of the college but the students. So the college should take action.

Placement Experience:

From semester 3 onwards , students become eligible for placements. The college will provide you with placement opportunities and you can choose from there according to your criteria. Companies like TCS, Deloitte also offers placements. The highest package is 16 LPA and the average package is 4-5 LPA. You should maintain an SGPA of 6 to qualify for placements and should clear all the semesters without having backlogs.

Truth: That's what my college taught me

Course Curriculum Overview:

I believe it goes with my specific interests in finance and the intricate understanding of market as it is related with the economy. I believe it will help me build the correct skillset to expand my investment consultancy. The best thing about this college is the class size ratio is so well managed due to the faculty. Apart from us, the other streams find this ratio even more extremely beneficial. All the faculties really reflect that they have mastered concepts and the way to convey it to the rest with patience and in an organised way. Our HOD happens to be the most veterans professor of all times who guides aspiring scholars and the most compact books on the subjects at all levels. And we were really given maximum comfort to be prepared for the exams

An overview of my college

Likes

The greenery of the campus and the large playgrounds.
The very happening campus and social life in the college.

Dislikes

Despite the high fees, the classrooms do not have air conditioning

After studying economics in class 12 I had decided to take up economics as my honours subject. The student faculty ratio is pretty good in the college. We have professors with doctorate degrees and the teaching method is very inter active. Exams were always as per schedule.

Collaboration between Study and Fun.

Likes

The campus life of the college and my peers who became my chosen family.
The faculty members are like the best guide you can ever ask for.

Dislikes

The lack of amenities in our building which sometimes was causing little inconvenience to us.
The unavailability of the water cooler in our building.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course as the faculty members are one of the best professors in their field and also I find Literature very interesting and I felt that with those respective professors guidance I would simply flourish in my area . The dynamic between the students and the faculty members is not a power dynamic system rather they are so friendly that you can go to them with any problems of yours and they would gladly listen and solve them. The faculty members have all qualified degrees from the reputed colleges of our nation . They take a very innovative approach to enlighten the students about the topics they were teaching and not only it enhances the students' interest about the subject but also it gives them the confidence to pursue it more. The term exams were within 3 months back through out the ear and they were quite difficult as the questions were totally critical based on the topic .

ALL ABOUT HERITAGE COLLEGE.

Likes

The auditorium is outstanding. It feels like you are seating in a 5 star movie theatre.
The cafeteria is also very good. Lumpsum amount of space to accommodate a large number of people.

Dislikes

The food in the cafeteria is not up to the mark but it is not very bad also.
There is attendance problem in this college. Your attendance must be up to the mark to sit in the exams.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is also better in this college than other colleges. Sudents become eligible to sit in the placement cell in their 3rd year of their course. Various companies like Loreal, TCS, etc vists this college during placements. Highest package I have seen in this college is 6.5 LPA on the basis of this course. The average package is expected to be 4 LPA.

College Life like I always wanted

Likes

The faculty is great. They always come forward to help whether it is academical or a students personal need. The library provides all sort of materials required. The college definitely provides lot of courses and departments are available.
The infrastructure of the college and the campus is beautiful and really big. There are 3 canteens in the campus and lots of space.

The faculty members are absolutely great. They not only cover the syllabus but also pay attention to our personal needs. They help us study by giving presentations and detailed notes of each text done in class. They also take quizzes and tests to keep us prepared.

Faculty, college ambiance and ragging free community
Each and every month some fests were organised to gather and socialize with each other

Dislikes

They do not provide hostel facilities for the boys
They do not provide bus facilities for students

So this college offers you great placements like a job in Amazon or Nestle, Wipro, Cognizant, and many such multinational companies. An average student can get a job with an average salary package of 10 LPA.

Placement Experience:

The students are provided summer internship programs from semester 4 itself but paid placement packages are provided to semester 6 students. Companies like Deloitte, Genpact, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Godrej, Axis Bank, and many other companies take in students via the placement cell with packages ranging at an average of 300000 per annum. The majority of the students get placements via the placement cells but as the majority of the students opt for higher studies so the percentage of students getting placement is around 40%. I am currently working at Amazon as a virtual customer service associate for a contractual period as I aim to focus on MBA studies as I am preparing for it sideways besides working.
