CIC - Design your degree

Likes

College faculty are the best mentor they help you in every point
Campus facilities are much and much better than the other colleges
The ratio between girls and boys like girls are in majority

Dislikes

The cafeteria was not much good and not have much variety of food
Sometimes the lift was not working in the campus
Not accessibility of the college ground for the students

The course is there which I am studying was B.a humanities and social sciences Hon's which gives me a opportunity to cop up with the society and the human world and to design my own degree in a umbrella framework

Likes

The infrastructure of the campus is nice and developed
The ragging free nature of the campus and the anti ragging policy
The teachers and friends are also so friendly

Dislikes

Sometimes the washrooms are not cleaned well
The expenses and exploitation of PG and Flats

The course curriculum is really interesting for me and the practical based approach is a good way of seeking knowledge. The curriculum qnd syllabus is very applicable to the real world synerio . And the papers are very good and improves the quality of education

Meta College Concept for BA(H) in CIC

Likes

There is less strength in each class in CIC
There is best infrastructure is available in CIC
Faculty is very helpful and well qualified in their field

Dislikes

No placement is available in Cluster Innovation Centre
No fest is conducted in Cluster Innovation Centre
Library is not satisfactory at all because no books for BA students and no newspaper and magazines are available in library of CIC.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose CIC for BA(H) HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL SCIENCE and this course is very unique and interesting which fulfills the need of present generation. As there are very less strength in CIC so it makes easier for faculty members to pay personal attention on each students. They all are very well qualified in their respective field . It is easy to pass term exam if focus on your classes and study well.

Distinctive College of Delhi University

Likes

Best Infrastructure among different DU Colleges
Meta-College concept in terms of Interdisciplinary Studies.
Well established Faculty with high experiences in their fields.

Dislikes

A very small Canteen with very average food.
No societies or clubs have taken place since its inception.
No placement cell with whatsoever guidance from mentors about job roles.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it really fascinates me like how it provides meta-college concepts in such cases where education seems mediocre. The faculty-student ratio is 1:35. The faculty is well qualified as well. And the best thing is the exams always happen in accordance with DU's guidelines.

Admission:

I applied for this course from college's website, the eligibility criteria for applying for B.A is 10+2 from any recognized board with 60% in any four subjects including English.Based on my academic performance in 12th i was allotted a seat for this curriculum.

Remarks:

CIC is busy and fast moving. Unlike most other colleges, where in you would have a fixed schedule for your day and a planned return to your home, CIC will keep surprising you each day. This will end up being your journey towards self exploration, but only if you make the most of everything it has to offer.

Great and fun-learning experience

Admission:

The admission process was simple as the only eligibility criteria is that the students have to pass 12th. After that, there is an entrance exam conducted by the university. This test includes 100 MCQs that have to be answered in 2 hours.
