Likes

The infrastructure is very impressive well maintained classrooms, Campus, Labs, Library etc.
The view of the river Torsha beside the college in the evening is amazing.
The faculties are very supportive and well connected to students. There are many opportunities to show your skills in the events.

Dislikes

Little far from main city. You have to take hustle to reach the college.
The TPO cell need to be improved. Placements are good but need more improvement.
The boys and girls ratio is like 5:2 , I am not sure about the whole college.

Placement Experience:

The highest placement reached 21 LPA, with an average of 3.5–4 LPA, and CSE and ECE are the most placed branches. Top recruiters include TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Infosys, L&T, Techno, and many more start-ups.

lack of co-curriculum activity in college campus

in one year the college conducts eight CA exam which are of 25 marks each.electronics and communication engineering is very good branch although upgrowing india needs electronics engineering in upcomig few years

My review on Cooch Behar Government Engineering College

Likes

The classrooms and the labs in the college are clean and well equipped.
The educational background of the faculties are really impressive. Most of them have completed their graduation and masters from IIT.
The bonding and the interaction between the junior and senior students are very strong. The seniors are very polite and supportive to their juniors.

Dislikes

The classes are not taken according to the routine many times.
Boys hostel for 1st and 2nd year students has not yet started.
The placement statistics in this college is not promising. Most of the students opt for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Companies like Wipro, L&T, Mahindra, TCS, Infosys, Byjus, Cognizant etc visit our college to hire students. Students from 7th semester are eligible for the campus placements. The average package of our college is 3-4 LPA and highest is 13 LPA. Around 30-40% students get placed while others opt for higher studies.

Likes

Campus:- most beautiful part of the college
Faculty:- the faculty of ECE is very experienced and helpful.
Weather:- weather is the best here. Not too hot

Dislikes

Placement:- On campus placement is very bad.
Administrative Faculty: they ar not experienced or professional.
Principal:- The principal is not so good.

The college faculty is very good . The teachers the senior are very helpful.

The college has gym but it’s not open at this time .
The college entrance gate to be clean . The gate is to old .

First of all I didn't know about this but when I learned , the college faculties are also help me then I realized it's the best . Electronics and communication Engineering is the department where you learn everything software hardware, etc.

the best thing is fees structure. Affortable for all students
college question papers levels are average. So easy to score marks
no of feculty is short but teaching quality is decent

Dislikes

Placement isn't good. If you want high package jobs then go off campus
campus is dull. collage infrastructure should be more attractive
coding culture isn't good. and other clubs also not so good

I chose this course for my interest in electronics and coding-related jobs. in my college faculty numbers are too low. the ratio will be 1:10 ( teacher: student}. faculties are well educated and the teaching method also not bad The CA exams are very easy compared to entrance exams.

LIfe At Tier 3 Govt College

Likes

Labs and Equpiments are really good in condition.
Senior-junior Interaction Really good in college
Faculty members of every department are really helpfull.

Dislikes

Remote location and drinking water is not good
no campus canteen present in our college

Placement Experience:

From 2nd year onwards students are eligible for off-campus internships and from 3rd year they are eligible for off-campus placements. Many students already got internships in start-ups in the previous year. Department of CSE and ECE from the 4th year onwards has the highest scope to get placed in the on-campus placements.

Class rooms are great in this collage. Benches are A class.
Water Facility is Good in this collage. Cold as well normal water we can drink from filter machine.
Teacher's are good. They taught us very well.

Dislikes

Being a rural area, there are few shops, you have to go to the city to buy things.
There are no hostel for 1st , 2nd and 3rd year students. Still in maintenance.

Placement Experience:

The placement record of this college was not good. Some companies visited the college like TCS Ninja, etc. but they don't offer a high package. So that average package is 4lpa. And some students get off-campus placement 22LPA. 20% of students get placement.
