- The scholarship also grants to good students, their placement training and assistance are brilliant, and our college is always ranked in the highest placement ratio.
- Our college gives a huge opportunity to each and every student to get placed in the reputed company and they can a get a good idea of how the interview done
- Teachers are really helpful and are passionate about their subject and motivate us to make changes in the learning experience .they provide helpful meaningful notes for students to prepare for exam.they do listen to students suggestions while teaching.

- College canteen is not so good. the food they provide its not good
- The average package is very low . last placements were not so good .
- Hostels are not good there..students prefer more for pg and own flat,as hostels also don't have good mess as there foods are not good.

- Somd teachers who were attaced in the admission process were very bad. Their behaviour was very rude and unprofessional. Very curel they were . And didnt support anybody. And make students demotivated. I also suffered . They harraswd me a lot. I got

Course Curriculum Overview:
I studied electronics and telecommunication in diploma. Diploma was of 3 years. After that i studied b.tech in electronics and communication . This course was of 3 years. In modern days electronics and communication plays very important role both in domestic and industrisl purpose. Now im working as an electronics engineer in industrial purpose.

- We got a very good back efforts from professors they are all well educated and mainly they are from various IITs and NITs which gives an extra star for better knowledge
- Placement opportunities ofcourse various and huge amount of companies recruits students from our college irrespective of beanches
- You get various internship opportunities as well as various otger facilities of platform courses like course era linkedin etc etc which would help you to get a good resume. Along with it they train us like corporates
Dislikes
- Specially exams are more often here and things are taken very serious about discipline
- It's more likely school u need to stay within boundaries. No wxtra enjoyments are entertained within the College
Placement Experience:
Placements are generally good in this college. Majority of the students gets placed just after the sixth semester in reputed companies with good packages and ofcourse better than many colleges of west bengal and out. Average package for CSE ECE and IT stream is nearly about 6 lakhs apart from this highest package for this year is being offered by AMAZON that is of 68 LPA secured by 4 students and rest 80% of the students got placed and the placements will continue to eigth semester until 100% or more than 95% students get placed. Students also gets a perk if they pursue their Mtech degree from here after B tech or pursue MBA from this college.

- Small campus leading to boring life as you can't have free space
- No such canteen inside the campus leading to food scarcity
- Too strict on disciples and attendance system
Placement Experience:
Placement cell is quite hardworking, they try their best to call companies. For the current year a list of almost 30 companies has visited and among which 5 are mass recruiters. hence the average package leads to 6 lakhs, and hence the ROI of my year is 0 to a max students.

- The facilities including well maintained labs,which includes computer lab,electronics lab,bio technology lab

- The uniform culture as in college students should be allowed to wear casual clothes but here you need to wear uniforms
- The timings of the college were fixed which was from 9:30am till 4pm,they could have provided more flexible timings
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum for ECE was at par with the industry's standards and had all the important subject matters included in the curriculum.
The curriculum includes both theory and practical based learning.Technical rounds and Gd pi sessions helped us to have practical knowledge for placements.
The exams are both quarterly and half yearly basis with very high difficulty level .

- Discipline is one and foremost thing of this college.
- Early placement trainings are being provided from Second year itself.
- Co curricular activities are provided to each and every students and everyone's talent is being encouraged.
Dislikes
- Long college hours from 9 at morning to 5 at evening.
- Classrooms are not air conditioned, it becomes very problematic in summers.
- Some of the computers in laboratory sometimes does not work
Placement Experience:
The placement process usually starts from 6th semester.
The mass reciuters of the college is TCS and Wipro.
The college provides 100 percent placement .
My plans after getting the degree is to secure a good job in a good company.

- No ragging takes place in the campus, whole campus is under cctv surveillance
- Seniors are very helpful and friendly in behavior
- Many tech activities are done throughout the year

- Too much strictness, no freedom, unnecessary strictness
- Placement is not as much as shown in advertisement
- Many teachers are qualified but can't teach at all
Placement Experience:
I heard the placement is good, before the previous year the placement was good but last year place was not upto the mark. This college is doing business by taking admission of a lot of students and naturally that much students can't get placed.

- The college has elevator system . It has total 3 campuses .
- The infrastructure is good. MNCs come for recruiting students
- Professors maintain professionalism and teach with utmost care
Dislikes
- The college is very strict, not allowed to cheat during exams
- Everyday uniform is must, no entry in labs without lab coats
- Formal black shoes and tie are necessary to wear
Placement Experience:
From 6th semester students become eligible for placements. Oracle, infosys, IBM, TCS companies like this come to the college for recruitment. Highest package is above 40LPA. Almost 90% students get placed.

The placement of our college is pretty nice and is considered the best among all the private universities of the State of West Bengal.
With an average package of 5 lakhs and highest package of 72 lakhs it is ranked among top universities of the Country.

- Small Campus, Old Buildings, Classroom doesn't have proper seats in some departments
- Microphone provided in every room but not properly maintained, Teachers are sometimes rude and disrespectful (especially in 1st yr)

The placement our college offers is pretty nice
With an average package of 5lakhs per annum and higesht package of 72 Lakhs our college stands top among the Private Universities of the State of West Bengal

UEM Kolkata has been the highlight of negative views lately and here are the reasons:
- It is fairly new and hasn’t reached any milestone yet which makes it unreliable according to the standards set in society. People don’t trust newly established private universities.
- The entrance exam of UEM Kolkata is very easy and people pass it without any problem.
- UEM Kolkata is new and therefore has no accomplishments and therefore uses the records of UEM Jaipur which makes parents skeptical.
- The Institute has a very strict environment and therefore comes in the way of students who want to enjoy their college life. These students somehow convince their parents that the Institute is not good for them.
- UEM Kolkata had issues with UGC(University Grants Commission) and is not recognized by the government and therefore it creates doubts about the degree among students.
These are some of the reasons why some students will be skeptical about joining UEM Kolkata. Talk to the students presently studying there as they can only provide you with the exact information. Try visiting the institute beforehand and decide for yourself.
