The course curriculum is formed in such a manner that it gets updated very often to include all the new things in media. As it is more to the practical side it really helps us to be prepared for the real world. The curriculum includes various aspects of mass communication and journalism like radio, audio visual production, film appreciation, sociology,etc..The teaching methods for these subjects are also very innovative and creative. There are two internal and one main sem exam conducted for every semester.

I decided to choose this course because i thought AI and IT would be the future of the plnet as technology goes on advancing. the course does prepare you well enough to face real world applications but even you have to put in the hard yards by innovative thinking and creating something extraordinary. the course has a lot of scope for improvement espically in the area of learning and teaching. the subjects have a very limited time to master which is very difficult to cope up with and also it doesnt go in detail of every subject. instead have a course where students select their strong subjects and focus on it entirely. choosing subjects or finding out which subject is he/she strong in can be quite frustating at times. The exam timings and its pattern is fine where you get 2 unit tests and a final semester paper and you require overall 40 marks out of 100 to pass.

I wanted to pursue NEET for which I chose Bsc in zoology and biology. Dealing with insects and plants in real life helped me understand the curriculum in a very well manner. It did help me gain intrest in that field More focus on average students should be included. The exams have 3 times a year: Continuous internal assessment 1 Continuous internal assessment 2 Both of the above are for 20 marks each and then a semester exam for 60 marks which concludes for 100 marks in total. All exams have atleast a month and half or two months gap.

Some aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course is my intrest in the subject and also the efficiency of the faculty in Xavier's . The curriculum is very practical based and helps us for real world applications and offers internships that prepares us for the corporate world . Sometimes the timings of the course are hard to cope up with . The only improvement could be in the timings and the hectic schedule.

The BMS curriculum is also know as a mini MBA mostly students from my class go for consultancy in financial firms the subjects are very relavents and the teaching faculty does prepare one extremely well through project works and case study we have subjects like economics, business law, international business etc. which help us learn more about the business world and we have guest and alumini who are working in the respective fields come to college and share their experiences, and recently college has subscribed to Harvard case studies to up their game , the things that can be improved as more real project work than class as we learned more during project work than class and the teaching could be more engaging in-class rather than we approaching after class with doubts and questions as for the exams it is easy and with effort it's easy to score marks as there not too much burden in the syllabus

I'm studying History and Archaeo and I'm interested in that field. The methods used for teaching are PPTs, Showing us various archaeological structures in our very own college museum, etc. The timing and syllabus for exams is based on what the professors teach and they prepare us well for it

The course has changed a lot from last year due to the NEP guidelines. The new curriculum provides cross-faculty minor courses through which we learn about not only our course but a completely different one too. It is a very new model of timetable and we are the experiment batch. Some suggestions I would give are to provide minors which are related to our subject so that it would be useful to us in future also providing better options in choosing electives. One positive I found is the honours programming which gives us the option to directly take Phd once done with our bachelors. Also the free exit system is also helpful.

In my bachelors I knew I wanted to do something in films and during my final year I started searching for colleges for pgd. XIC is one of the few colleges that provides practical knowledge to students instead of focusing more on theoretical knowledge.
