St Xavier's Mumbai, Mumbai Comparison

Since my course did not have any placement opportunities specifically, I don??t know much about it. It was mostly beneficial to courses of economics, media and management.

I also uploaded at various colleges in Delhi, but as I joined this college in 2022, it was CUT's first batch and the first batch and the results were late during that time only as it rated number one, autonomous College in India and and the placement cell in our college was also very attractive time as many MNCs like Deloitte KPMG JP Morgan was coming to college.

Our college St. Xavier's Mumbai is an autonomous college . As I'm doing ancient history my yearly fees is 7000 .our college also offers various scholarship to students including merit based scholarship awarded to students with excellent academic performance there are also need based scholarship offered to students from economically disadvantaged background and there are also other scholarships which our college provide according to various courses . Our college has a registration fees of 1000 , as we are admitted on merit basis there is no admission fees . Scholarship is also based on the number of students who are applying for the scholarship and the fund available in college . Most of them are for students who are struggling with financial needs and our college also provide courses for students who are working and provide scholarship specifically for them.

I was very clear since the beginning that i wanted to pursue BA as i want to do B.Ed ahead so BA English would br of great help. The course curriculum is good other than some aspects like poetry, not many people have keen interest and it's a difficult paper to attempt and score

Some aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course is my intrest in the subject and also the efficiency of the faculty in Xavier's . The curriculum is very practical based and helps us for real world applications and offers internships that prepares us for the corporate world . Sometimes the timings of the course are hard to cope up with . The only improvement could be in the timings and the hectic schedule.

Jobs when we talk about this, there are many examples the best of the state are from this college when i talk about business sector of commerce there is vast scope as in history there is no such things like internship so i have never gone for it but my friend from commerce sector is doing.

I'm studying History and Archaeo and I'm interested in that field. The methods used for teaching are PPTs, Showing us various archaeological structures in our very own college museum, etc. The timing and syllabus for exams is based on what the professors teach and they prepare us well for it

There are almost 80-100 companies reaching out to the college for placements every year. This is a huge number and can be thus seen as a major highlight. Students from all departments become a part of the placement drive and get successfully placed in different companies.

The curriculam is designed for all round development of the student and to make that person an expert in that field, these aspects influeneced me to choose it. Very well, with extra paper of real world application on each subject it ensures that we take something from the course and become industry ready The teachings methods and cirriculam are excellent I don't think any changes are required Exams are all year round, every month and are extremly difficult to deal with, as Xavier's bar is very high.

The college has a placement cell that provides students with information about vacancies for jobs they might me interested in. The cell also organises for the recruiters of various firms to come to the college and recruite students.
