I was told the same before joining after my SSC. But during my two years there, I realized those students outside are actually from NMIMS. So don’t buy into the gossip that ‘Mithibai students aren’t good’. Compared to other colleges, Mithibai has the most decent crowd.

Attendance is 75% mandatory, which isn't too demanding. You’re already paying the fees, so might as well enjoy the AC while you're at it. You can track your attendance with an app and plan your leaves accordingly. The Aditi canteen on the ground floor is fantastic with a variety of dishes. Some folks even choose Mithibai just for the canteen, which is a silly reason, but it happens.

You'll meet great friends here who will stick with you for life. No backstabbers around. Overall, Mithibai gets everything right: faculty, facilities, community, and more. If you’re gearing up for your 10th-grade board exams, check the cutoffs online for open category and maybe the Gujarati quota if you’re lucky to be Gujarati, and aim for those scores.
