If you're looking for a top arts college in Chennai, especially for subjects like painting or sculpture, you might want to check out the Government College of Arts & Crafts. It's located on Poonamallee High Road, close to Egmore, right across from the Police Commissioner's office. This college has been around for a long time and offers a variety of fine arts programs. You can find more details on their website.

If you're interested in music and dance, Kalakshetra in Besant Nagar is another well-known place that offers courses in dance, music, and visual arts. Their website has all the information you need to know.

For me, the best arts college in Chennai is definitely Guru Nanak College, especially for courses like BA in Sociology. The professors are knowledgeable and they emphasize practical learning. The campus is well-maintained, and there are plenty of clubs and activities that allow students to showcase their talents. Plus, the fees are quite affordable compared to other colleges. It's a great place if you're looking to balance academics with extracurriculars.

I would say Guru Nanak College is a solid choice for arts courses, especially for BA in English. The teaching methods are interactive, and the faculty are approachable, which really helps in understanding the subjects better. The college also hosts various extracurricular activities that make college life fun. Fees are reasonable, and the overall environment promotes both academic and personal growth. While some areas could be improved, my experience has been mostly positive.

Guru Nanak College is definitely one of the best arts colleges in Chennai. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Arts in Defence and Strategic Studies here. The faculty is really good; most of them are PhD holders and they take individual care of each student. The curriculum is interesting and connects well with real-world applications, especially for anyone looking to join the armed forces or civil services.

The campus life is also vibrant with various events like Pongal celebrations, which makes it enjoyable. Overall, my experience has been quite fulfilling.
