Studied at Jai Hind College (2020)

Jai Hind is the best college for BMM. It is autonomous and follows a more rigorous curriculum. The course structure is demanding, it has double number of projects compared to KC. Students need to complete 12 projects per semester.

According to the recent highlights of Jai Hind placements, BMM graduates receive the highest CTC of around INR 5.5 LPA.

How is the B.A. in Film Television and New Media Production B.A. FTNMP at KC College? How does it compare to a regular B.M.M. course?

C
CommittedCaptain Posted On : February 27th, 2026

KC College is well-known in Mumbai. It's important to remember that a BA in Film, Television, and New Media Production is not the same as a BMM course. They cover different topics and areas of study. Make sure to look into both programs thoroughly before deciding which one to pursue.

Which college is better for a B.M.M. SIES Sion or KC?

FolderFoam Posted On : February 27th, 2026

Honestly, I think KC College is better for a BMM. They have a solid placement cell, and companies like Deloitte and KPMG come to hire students. The faculty is also very supportive, especially for those pursuing other courses like CA alongside. The annual fest, Kiran, is a great way to experience college life, and the library is well-stocked. Overall, my experience has been good, and I feel like I'll have better opportunities after graduation.

What are the chances of getting into KC College for a B.A. and a B.M.M. with 88.60 in XII?

R
ReliableRanger Posted On : February 26th, 2026

Congrats on scoring 88.60%. While it's a great score, you might find it tough to get into KC College for BMM right away. The first few cut-off lists are usually quite high, often between 92% and 94%, especially if you're in the general category without any special quotas. If you do have a quota, getting in should be much easier.

With your score, you'll face stiff competition, so it's wise to apply to other colleges as well, just in case. Over time, cut-offs tend to rise, but sometimes students switch colleges later on, which might open up a spot for you. Best of luck, and hope this helps!

Is KC College good for BAF?

D
DiscerningDruid Posted On : February 26th, 2026

I think KC College is good for BAF. The Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com] (Accounting and Finance) course is quite convenient as it allows you to manage studies alongside professional courses like CA. The faculty is qualified, and I found the exams to be manageable. However, I do feel the fee structure is a bit high compared to the amenities provided, and there weren't any campus placements offered for our batch. Overall, if you’re looking for a flexible course, KC might be a good option.

Which is better for BMS KC College or Lala College?

G
GuardedGuru Posted On : February 26th, 2026

Hey there, I'm currently in my third year of BMS, and I have to say, Lala College stands out as a top choice compared to others. The faculty is great, the facilities are nice, and the student community is lively. Of course, preferences can vary from person to person. Lala College is pretty laid-back when it comes to attendance requirements. They mention a 75% rule, but it's mostly just on paper. The professors are supportive and don't bother students unnecessarily, unlike what I've heard about Jai Hind.

Best of luck!

Why is the crowd in Jai Hind and KC College so beautiful??

E
EscalationExpert Posted On : February 26th, 2026

I think the beauty of the crowd in KC College mainly comes from the camaraderie and the involvement in various clubs and events like SCOPE and the sports day. In my B.Com program, we have a great mix of students who are all focused on their goals but still find time to socialize and participate in extracurricular activities. The friendly nature of both students and faculty creates a warm environment that feels like a community.

Which college is overall better, Jai Hind College, Mithibai College or KC College?

R
RobustRhetoric Posted On : February 26th, 2026

Definitely Mithibai! I went to junior college there before switching to NMIMS for my degree, and I really regret that choice. Sticking with a regular B Com at Mithibai would've been way less stressful for me. Mithibai is top-tier in Mumbai, and getting in is a real blessing. I wish I hadn't made the switch.

My time at Mithibai was amazing, probably the best years I’ve had. Even with large class sizes (over 120 students), the teachers make sure to address each student's questions. They don’t just talk the talk; their faculty is truly exceptional. Each subject has its own dedicated teacher who knows their stuff inside out. They don’t hop from subject to subject. Teachers go the extra mile during board exams by offering personal attention to students who seek it. You won’t find such committed teachers easily elsewhere.

The students here are from respectable backgrounds and have strong values. You might hear rumors about Mithibai students hanging out and doing things like smoking or drugs. I was told the same before joining after my SSC. But during my two years there, I realized those students outside are actually from NMIMS. So don’t buy into the gossip that ‘Mithibai students aren’t good’. Compared to other colleges, Mithibai has the most decent crowd.

Attendance is 75% mandatory, which isn't too demanding. You’re already paying the fees, so might as well enjoy the AC while you're at it. You can track your attendance with an app and plan your leaves accordingly. The Aditi canteen on the ground floor is fantastic with a variety of dishes. Some folks even choose Mithibai just for the canteen, which is a silly reason, but it happens.

You'll meet great friends here who will stick with you for life. No backstabbers around. Overall, Mithibai gets everything right: faculty, facilities, community, and more. If you’re gearing up for your 10th-grade board exams, check the cutoffs online for open category and maybe the Gujarati quota if you’re lucky to be Gujarati, and aim for those scores.

Is KC College in Thane good?

V
VisualizationVisionary Posted On : February 25th, 2026

KC College in Thane is quite good, especially for the Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com] (Accounting and Finance) course. I found the curriculum convenient and manageable alongside my CA preparations. The faculty is qualified and supportive, and the exams are not too tough to pass. However, I did feel that the fee structure isn't justified considering the amenities promised. Overall, it has been a decent experience for me.
