Definitely Mithibai! I went to junior college there before switching to NMIMS for my degree, and I really regret that choice. Sticking with a regular B Com at Mithibai would've been way less stressful for me. Mithibai is top-tier in Mumbai, and getting in is a real blessing. I wish I hadn't made the switch.

My time at Mithibai was amazing, probably the best years I’ve had. Even with large class sizes (over 120 students), the teachers make sure to address each student's questions. They don’t just talk the talk; their faculty is truly exceptional. Each subject has its own dedicated teacher who knows their stuff inside out. They don’t hop from subject to subject. Teachers go the extra mile during board exams by offering personal attention to students who seek it. You won’t find such committed teachers easily elsewhere.

The students here are from respectable backgrounds and have strong values. You might hear rumors about Mithibai students hanging out and doing things like smoking or drugs. I was told the same before joining after my SSC. But during my two years there, I realized those students outside are actually from NMIMS. So don’t buy into the gossip that ‘Mithibai students aren’t good’. Compared to other colleges, Mithibai has the most decent crowd.

Attendance is 75% mandatory, which isn't too demanding. You’re already paying the fees, so might as well enjoy the AC while you're at it. You can track your attendance with an app and plan your leaves accordingly. The Aditi canteen on the ground floor is fantastic with a variety of dishes. Some folks even choose Mithibai just for the canteen, which is a silly reason, but it happens.

You'll meet great friends here who will stick with you for life. No backstabbers around. Overall, Mithibai gets everything right: faculty, facilities, community, and more. If you’re gearing up for your 10th-grade board exams, check the cutoffs online for open category and maybe the Gujarati quota if you’re lucky to be Gujarati, and aim for those scores.

I think KC College is better overall compared to Jai Hind and Mithibai. I'm doing my B.Com, and I've found the course to be structured well, especially for someone pursuing CA like me. The faculty is experienced and supportive; they've been flexible with attendance, which is a big help.

The placement scene is also quite impressive here, with many companies coming to recruit, which is something I really appreciate. The campus is fun too, with events like Kiran making college life exciting.

Between Jai Hind College, Mithibai College, and KC College, I’d say KC College stands out for its excellent faculty and placement opportunities. I'm in the Bachelor of Commerce program, and the syllabus has been quite interesting and manageable alongside my CA studies. The faculty here really makes a difference; they are approachable and flexible, which is a huge plus for students juggling professional courses.

The college also has a good placement cell, which helped many of my friends land jobs with solid packages. The campus life is lively with various events, making it an overall great experience.

Mithibai, hands down! Here's why: The infrastructure is among the top in Mumbai, and the canteen is the largest in the city. The teaching staff is top-notch compared to many other colleges. Plus, the strict attendance policy ensures students attend classes, which means you make lots of memories and grow as you meet people your age. You'll also get to join in on different events and festivals. Lastly, when it comes to placements, Mithibai definitely leads the pack!

KC College is definitely the better option overall. I’m pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Management, and the course has been really comprehensive and easy to manage alongside my CA preparations. The faculty is super supportive, and they really understand the needs of students like me. Plus, the placement opportunities here are amazing, with companies like Deloitte and KPMG recruiting directly from the college, and the average salary packages are quite decent. The campus life is also vibrant with a lot of fests, especially Kiran, which makes it a fun experience.
