I was working with Finurja company , the internship which I got through entrepreneurship cell of the college. I was content writer and social media manager intern for them for 6 months for 6 months. Used to manage content for them and made posts for their social media. Overall a good opportunity for me.
Since I am a First year I do not have much info on this but we have been told there are internship opportunities from SY and placements for TY students, we had one of our faculty members give an internship opportunity, especially for freshers which was pretty good.
The third year of college is the year of research projects and internships. The first 2 years of college aim at character building that makes us suitable for a job or an internship, building and improving skills
As I said earlier I'm a first-year student so I've not got any internship yet but alongside I'm also doing an honors program in health and diagnostics for which I will have a compulsory unpaid internship in my second year as well as in the third year.
Very decent internships offered...average stipend 5-6k, average duration - 2 to 3 months We have companies like Deloitte, HDFC, and Accenture visiting to provide internships and placements. They believe in Mass recruiting, not skills and talent from our College
Because of the Pandemic, things didn't work out the way we wanted. But slowly everything is coming back to place. As I am Currently in My first year I chose not to do an internship and will wait for further placements.
Before the last semester, final exams placements are started and we can join any company if we get selected. For a fresher, the average salary per month is calculated between 15-20 thousand rupees. 70/80% of students opt for jobs and the remaining go for masters.
In my college, Wipro, cognizant and tcs offered an internship with a stipend of 10K every month lots of students joined it. And after completion of their internship, they were offered a job there as continuing the same work there and many applied also. In internships, the roles offered was to make a project on web or app development and some were placed on data entry job also. The internship was for a period of 6 months and It was also the last year project of our college to join these companies as interns and show your certificates to clear out your graduation. So it was totally fine for lots of us as our project was also clearing and at the same time, we were getting paid. Those students who fail to complete their companies project work were rejected to continue with their permanent job there after completion of their internships. But there were companies also coming after completion of 3 years course. So there is no tension of being not placed in companies after graduation here.
