About Elphinstone College
Elphinstone College of Mumbai is one of the reputed and prestigious colleges which is accredited with the NAAC 'A' Grade under the affiliation of Dr. Homi Bhabha State University. The college is known for offering various undergraduate programs in the Arts and Commerce, as well as Science streams such as B.A, B.Sc, B.Com etc. Apart from the aided courses, the Elphinstone College also offers self financed courses in the disciplines of Management and Technology. Elphinstone College Admission
Elphinstone College admission 2024 has started. The admission process is entirely merit-based for both UG and PG courses offered at the college.
- Step 1: Candidates have to register for their chosen course and college on the official website of HBSU using their mobile number, email address and date of birth.
- Step 2: After this, candidates have to pay a minimal registration fee and wait for the class 12 results. The merit list is released by the college on the basis of availability of seats, registered students, and marks of the applicants in the last qualifying exam
- Step 3: After the merit list is released, shortlisted candidates have to report to Elphinstone College with all the required documents. Then, they must pay the Elphinstone College admission fee in online mode through the college’s official website.

- Hostel: The college has hostels at various locations around Churchgate. About 100 seats are available for boys in two different hostels. While 60 seats are available for girls. Admissions to the hostel are done through the college website.
- Sports and Recreation: Elphinstone College provides provisions for outdoor sports like Cricket, Football, Basketball, and Volleyball. Facilities for indoor games like table tennis, chess, as well as carrom, are also available. The college has its own gymkhana, which is a furnished fitness center.

These year in our college for it admission the cut-off gone very High due to the new NEP rule and that's why the admission process is become now tough and I think people who scored above 65 or 70 and in maths they scored atleast 60 so they can get admission if the seats are available.

Admission process was very easy you just have to fill university admission form after that wait for the merit list and complete further process . They only have online payment mode not offline so you don't have to go and pay fee . In Bsc.IT eligibility cutoff is minimum 50 %

The eligibility for this course is just that you have to clear your 12th from any recognised board. As the college campus is very vast and beautiful there are different counters for the admission.The student have to collect the form from the admission counter, last date of admission and details about the fee structure will be mentioned in the form or if u have any doubt regarding the process you can ask the teacher present at the counter..As it is a government college people who are From Sc/St or any reservations quota can have benefits regarding the admission or fee as well,by showing the proof for the same.Its a very beautiful and best degree college with amazing and wonderful teachers.Anyone can join it. I found an offline application form at my college then you have to fill out the form and submit in a specific department then after 3 or 4 Daya list will be created after calculating different parameters like marks caste certificate or eligibility criteria total 3 lists will be there

I went to seek admission in three colleges which were Kishinchand Chelleram College (KC College), Jai Hind College, And St. Xaviers College to pursue my Bachelor Degree In Information Technology but unfortunately, I did not get admission to any of these colleges because I tell you the reason also in case of K.C College the admission fees were high than the fees other colleges. Then I went to Jai Hind College but the seats were already filled by students so there were no seats for me. After that, I went to St. Xavier's College and enquired in the office of admission procedure and I came to know that only in-house students can only take admission no outsiders are allowed. And at the last but not the least I visited elphinstone colleges and luckily there were seats available and fees were also reasonable for open category aside of reserved quota fees which were too low as only 10% of our fees. So I took admission In it. The admission process was very simple we dont require high marks or age limit.

Elphinstone College is a quite good and old college in Mumbai teaching faculty is very helpful and co-ordinating. Minimum 50% to take admission. The admission process was online you get mail from college if you are selected.

Elphinstone College is very old as compared to most all the Mumbai colleges and its alumni are at their best. There are various types of courses available for students. The admission process totally depends on students and it's on a first come first serve basis so maybe no need to give any exams and all. But only a few courses need to give the entrance exam. I preferred this college because of its platonic criteria. I have visited the college then opted to Choose.

Very Good college as well as Historical College Individual learning is possible, students can share there family problem with teachers. A good Bonding is created between teacher and student. Only one problem in this College is it is not well maintained, teacher and other staff are very very supportive, specially the science stream , foreigners also visit our college as it place in a UNSC historical buildings. The students who comes here for learning are also Very Good in behaviour as well as in learning. I should join such college for better experience.
