Ans. XIC OET is a mix of Objective and Subjective questions pertaining to English, Media, GK and Current Affairs. For the English section, be extremely thorough with your knowledge of phrases, grammar and comprehensive ability. The GK section is comparatively easier. Given this is a media college you must be well researched and updated with current affairs both national and international. Keep an update on the happenings in the world because in the subjective part of the test you may be asked to give your view and justify your answer. My goal from forever was to learn and take admission in XIC as it is very renowned and is a brand in itself. Therefore, i never applied in other colleges. Before joining the course I talked to so many ex graduates and alumni from XIC which motivated me to take admission here

Bachelors in any course with 60% marks was the eligibility criteria. The forms, fees and dates are regularly updated on XIC website. Not much idea about reservation benefits. Had an online entrance exams with objective and subjective questions and was called for an offline interview afterwards.

The admissions depend solely on an entrance test for which anybody is eligible post their graduation. The test involves basic quantitative anf qualitiative assessments. The application fees is 3000 rs and the test comprises over 3 hours. The test is quite difficult and requires an overall awareness of current affairs and subject centric information.

Firstly, you have to prepare for the college entrance exam and after scoring the required percentile you are offered the seat in the college by filling an application form and paying yearly fees of 900000 lacs in Installment and also as I am from the general category I haven't availed any reservation benefit.
The course focuses maily on direction and production aspect of film making. There are film screenings, workshops, field trainings and guest lectures. 75% attendance is mandatory in the college. The entire course consists of 27 modules.
As per the course curriculum is concerned , it's not at all hectic I can say that it's completely flexible.any update and changes made in the course is informed to the students and everything related to the coursee is also mention in their website. We Learn how to attract customers and all about marketing.
Its an interesting course and best for those who have hight interest in journalism and Passionate about it.The course structure is sound. Study material is available in the college also. There are practicals,class tests and attendance is also compulsory.
The course curriculum of my college was great. All the students were given well written study materials to prepare for exams. Exams were well planned and executed in an efficient manner within the college campus twice a year.

The duration of my course is 10 months and it is a full-time course. My course has a total 22 modules and workshops like Relationship Management, Theatre Workshop, Diversity Discourse. The course contains topics like Principles & Practice of Mass Communication, Media & the Law Citizens, Human Rights and Public Affairs Critical Appreciation of Film, Literature and Art as Cultural Texts, Features and Editorial Writing Research Writing, Public Speaking and Presentation Skills and Photography & Photojournalism.
