St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Mumbai, has invited applications for its Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programs for the 2026-2027 academic session. Prospective candidates must complete their online registration by the stipulated deadline to be eligible for the Xavier’s Entrance Test (XET 2026).
The St. Xavier’s College selection process for several prominent courses will be conducted through the Xavier’s Entrance Test (XET 2026). This national-level entrance exam is scheduled to take place between May 2 and May 8, 2026, across various cities in India.
The entrance examinations begin in early May. For candidates appearing outside of Mumbai, the tests are scheduled for May 2nd and 3rd, 2026 (Saturday and Sunday). Specifically, centers in Delhi and Jaipur will host exams on both May 2nd and 3rd, while Bangalore, Cochin, and Guwahati will hold exams on May 2nd. Centers in Pune, Kolkata, and Hyderabad are scheduled for May 3rd. Finally, the Mumbai center will conduct exams over three days from May 6th, 7th, and 8th, 2026.

For major courses like BMS and BA-MCJ, the final merit list is calculated based on 60% XET score and 40% Class XII qualifying marks. The XET 2026 will be a 100-mark objective test with no penalty for wrong answers. Applicants need to upload a PDF of their Class XII Marksheet. Christian Minority candidates must also provide a Baptism Certificate.
