Course Curriculum Overview
The course subjects are very relevant and necessary with regards to real life experiences, the papers on the subjects are challenging to prepare you for real life applications and concentrate on understanding the concepts and not just pointless mugging up
Placement Experience
Campus placements are extremely good with top companies coming in with high packages, ranging from 6lpa to 24lpa, although everyone does not recieve a guaranteed placement, if your gpa and interview is good enough you can walk out with jobs in prestigious companies
Fees and Financial Aid
I have paid rs.3L for my first and second year at st. Xaviers as an NRI quota student Standard fees is 53k inr Students who take admissions from standard or management quota or reservation categories all pay the same fees while NRI and Foreign National students are required to pay 5x the fees
Campus Life
Campus Life at St Xaviers is amazing and beyond incredible, there are multiple student led college fests that provide exposure and opportunities to make new friends, during breaks students prefer to relax in the campus in the canteen area which provides a lot of seating, this is where students from all courses mix with each other and create new bonds
Admission
I have applied to NMIMS and Mithibai college and I chose Xaviers based on the location and its brand name and prestigious alumni, moreover, the campus is beautiful and the students are very welcoming, I also wanted to be part of the Malhar Festival which is one of the biggest festivals in Mumbai
Faculty
The faculty is extremely learned and experienced and very approachable, faculty to student ratio is quite good where you can see atleast 5-6 teachers for every class, the exams are challenging and often 10 to 15 students fail to clear the papers
Night Life
The college is located very close to marine drive, metro inox, it is in the heart of south mumbai where you can go to most of mumbais main attractions during your lecture breaks and have a great time with your friends
