Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose the BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies) course primarily due to its highly comprehensive coverage of core business aspects specially human resources. The curriculum is well-structured to offer a deep understanding of corporate administration and strategic management, which strongly influenced my decision to enroll. Regarding the examination structure, semester exams are conducted systematically every six months, with internal assessments, assignments, and class presentations spread across the term. The timing is generally manageable, and the difficulty level ranges from moderate to high, effectively testing a student's analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities rather than just memory recall.

Internships Opportunities

5

The internship culture at Clara's College of Commerce is average. While the placement cell works to organize training sessions and employability seminars like "Campus to Corporate," direct on-campus internship choices can be limited. A portion of the students manage to find off-campus internships or positions with firms like TCS and local business partners. The roles are usually entry-level tasks in general sales, operational accounting, or basic marketing. To better assist students, the college should focus on bringing in a wider range of specialized internships for the finance and HR sectors.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total estimated cost for the complete 3-year program spans approximately ₹88,050 to ₹90,000.first year -₹28,000 ,second year -₹28,750 and third year ₹30,000Fee. Tuition Fees ₹10,000 - ₹15,000 annually depending on course selection. Caution Money or Library Deposit its refundable, one-time security amount collected exclusively during year-one admission ₹150 - ₹500. Registration fee paid to the university during initial registration ₹300 - ₹800.

Campus Life

5

My overall experience at Clara's College of Commerce has been highly rewarding, offering a balanced mix of academic learning and vibrant student interaction. The campus social scene is exceptionally active, highlighted by our premier annual cultural festival, Celestia Fest, typically organized during the winter season, alongside specialized student-centric programs like the Marketing Fest. These events bring a massive wave of energy and provide an exceptional platform for networking across different streams.

Admission

I chose Clara's College of Commerce primarily due to its accessible location in Versova, Andheri West, and its affordable fee structure for self-financed courses like BMS and BAF compared to other private institutions in Mumbai. When comparing parameters like infrastructure, campus cleanliness, and faculty support, Clara's stood out against alternative choices like Tolani or Valia College. The college provides a well-maintained central library and highly qualified teachers who actively support student development.

Faculty

5

The faculty at Clara's College is helpful and supportive. The student-to-teacher ratio allows for decent personal attention, and most professors are friendly and easily reachable in the staff room. Miss kajal jaiswal is one of the best teachers here because of her clear explanations. The curriculum is very structured and relevant to the commerce stream. We have two major semester exams every year which are moderately difficult. The passing percentage is decent, and students who study standard patterns easily clear them.

Night Life

5

The internal nightlife at Clara's College of Commerce is non-existent as the campus public areas, library, and canteen close by the afternoon following regular lecture schedules. The college does not offer on-campus residential housing or hostels, meaning students head out after college hours.Despite a quiet campus after sunset, the surrounding location of Andheri West and Yari Road offers an incredible social life. Students frequently hang out at Versova Beach, local marine-drive style promenades, and the numerous budget-friendly cafes nearby. Because it is a prime area in Mumbai, the neighborhood is incredibly safe and student-friendly at night, allowing everyone to commute or hang out comfortably without safety concerns.
