My college is very good. They give a lot of importance to discipline besides academics and extra curricular activities. Faculties are very good. And the college gives us a lot of opportunities to explore our hidden talents
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very well planned. The entire course is divided into 6 semesters 2 in each year. The course is designed in accordance to the syllabus of the post graduation entrance exams . In first 3 semesters there are ancillary subjects and compulsory papers along with honours papers. From the 4th semester onwards there will be only honours papers.
Internships Opportunities
The college doesnt provide any internship as far as i know. But students can obviously do internship from other places. There are post graduation departments in the college . I do not know whether there are any opportunities of internship in the post graduation departments
Placement Experience
The placements are really good . Every year renowned companies come for campusing. Jobs are provided to students from all departments of college. Post graduate students also get jobs from here. The packages are also good
College Events
Christmas is celebrated well. Each department has their own departmental fest once a year. Independence day is celebrated . The famous xavotsav which is the college fest takes place in the month of january. To celebrate 'bhasa dibos' xavullash is organised
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is Feasible. There are some courses which are government aided and there are some courses which are self-financed courses. The self financed courses are costlier than the government aided ones.

I have heard that the college considers the fees of students with economic problems . The students have to show their family income certificate to avail the concession. However I did not have to avail any such
Campus Life
The college gives equal importance to extra curricular activities along with academics. There is a games room where students can play carrom and table tennis. There is a basket ball ground and a huge ground for cricket and football. The sports department organises the annual sports in the month of February. The labs are very well maintained .
Hostel Facilities
I have heard that the hostel facilities are very good. The rooms are very spacious and the hostel is neat and clean. The food is also very healthy though not very tasty. But the hostel food is hygenic
Alumni/Alumna
The senior students are very helpful. Be it any project related help or any help in studies or any query about the post graduation entrance exams they are always one call away. The alumni of the college organises beyond barriers on 26th January every year
Exam Structure
The entire course is divided into 6 semesters. There are 2 semesters in each year. Each semester is of 6 months. The annual exam in each semester is called the endsem. There is a midsem exam which is taken within 2 months from the start of the semester
Admission
The students had to fill up an online application form after their class 12 results were out. The college prepared a merit list and published it on its official website on a previously specified day. After I found my name in the list I went to take admission on the given date for admission
Faculty
The faculties of the statistics department as well as the other departments are very good. They explain the topics with great care. And are always ready to clear our doubts. They are very heplful. We can approach them any time after class
