Remarks

St. Xaviers Institute, Mumbai was my dream college to join. On the basis of Class XII marks and the admission test Xaviers BMS Entrance Exam, I was able to secure a seat there. The UG programme is having good course content and industry exposure too.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) is a industry relevant course to study. There are more job opportunities, and the training offered from the faculties, the academics , teaching methods are providing good industry knowledge to students.

Placement Experience

Good placements are there. The placement cell provide good training to students so as to deal with the interview questions. The popular recruiters are Titan, A.T. Kearney, Accenture, Alka Lifestyles Pv. Ltd. etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

INR 108027 is the fees for the three year under graduate course. There are limited scholarships for general category students. Financial supports given to students in form of fee waivers and concessions.

Campus Life

The campus life is pretty good. The academics are sometimes turn to be hectic. In order to ease the tensions, there are plenty of extra curricular programmes arranged leading to the holistic development of students.

Good Experince at VU

Placement Experience:

from 4th year all the students gets offers of placements. and from 3rd year students started getting Internships. also there is google dev groups club in house placements in our college. i don't know in details but from my side it could be 15lpa highest and lowest as in every colleges like 2,3lpa something arround. Almost 80% students gets placements who all are focusing on there carrer my plan is to get settle in luxurious lifestyle after getting my degree

WWI has a Placement Cells that keeps a track on opportunities for students. There is a mandatory internship that students need to complete after completion of sem 4 before sem 5 is commenced. The Campus Story : the lands of horror.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.

The Vibrant Life at St. Xavier's Mumbai

I applied to IIM Indore, St. Xavier's mumbai, TAPMI Manipal and I had given CET exam to apply for colleges in Mumbai. I did not clear the IPMAT exam as I prepared only for 2 months, so I didn't make it to iim indore. St. Xavier's being one of the top colleges in India was my next choice. I also got into TAPMI Manipal but I chose Xavier's over it as the ROI was better. For admission in Xavier's you've to clear the Xavier's Entrance Test (XET) for BMS, BMM and BSC-IT. Post which you'll get a call if your name is in the merit list. Rest of the process is done in the college itself, where you'll be asked to submit your documents and fill out some forms. Campus life at xaviers

I choose Xavier's because the BMS course it offers is one of the best and is very affordable as well , I was comparing Xavier's with christ,nmis etc. the BMS course offered in their college is extremely expensive and not as reputed as Xavier's and the placements that they offers is not good as Xavier's as well,Xavier's also has a good alumini and good word of mouth than these colleges, as for the admission into courses like BMS ,BMM,BSC-IT there is an entrance test called XAT and we have to clearit, the weightage is 60% score form the entrance test 40% from board exam scores and the final round will be an interview after which it is decided if one is selected for the course or not there is a reservation for Christan quota in the college as it is an Jesuits run college...Read More
