Course Curriculum Overview

3

In my course professors are very well know and have deep knowledge about the subject. They teach their subjects with passion and zeal. Curriculum is good but at times they include subjects which can't learn in 6 months or so. Exams and studies are so fast here that they don't even complete 6 months but in 5 months they are done with the semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee for the the first year is taken all together and that is around 40,000 and for the next year it's 38,000. Everything is added in this fee only like tuition, registration, admission and others. There's no category based fee structure. Scholarships are for people who yearly income is below 4 lakh and a resident of Maharashtra and other south India States.

Campus Life

3

Campus is good with all the aesthetics that you see in movies and all. At times it can get a bit congested during lunch breaks. Class go till 8pm. Multi storey building it is so it takes times to learn about the same. Ramps and lifts are there for specially abled people. Various departments have various clubs and event. Like every day you can find some event going on.

Admission

It's was providing Masters in AIC that's why I went for this one. We have interview based selection under NEP but before that you've to fill the forms on Mumbai University website as well on St Xavier's website.

Faculty

3

Faculty members are pretty chill and friendly but they take studies strictly too. You can see a bit of favourism other than that everything is great. Exams are in three level. CIA 1 + CIA 2 + End Sem exam. CIA are of 20 marks respectively and end sem of 60 marks.

Night Life

3

Though there's no great cafe around the campus but around 1-2km you can find good food shops like khayni bakery and all. Marine drive is also near to the college. CSMT is likely closer. College have it's own gymkhana. Nightlife is pretty decent.

Average package is 5LPA and it goes upto 16 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 60-70. My plans after the degree is to apply for my NET exam and after that I'll do my Ph.D in English
