Excellent college management till date yu can never find any misuse of power by any college management they are rather very helpful and supportive

TISSNET. I scored 103/250 . I took Disaster Management because it's a totally new field, where I got new knowledge and experience. Now a days there have been lot of Disasters in our country and its consequences leads to the loss of life and property. So I thought being the Disaster professional I could too be a part of Nations in reducing the Disaster affect.

The course is absolutely fabulous, here we learn the ground reality by field work and internship done by us in the rural, remote and urban areas which are vulnerable and prone to Disaster. Even we have gone to Nehal during Nepal earthquake. The curriculum will reach you how to manage and work during pre and post Disaster , what are the government norms that have to followed , how to make a decision, how to reduce such Disaster in future etc

Internships Opportunities

Yes, Rs 5000 is the general stipend. The internship they provide are truly valuable because the put us with the leading and reputed organization like UNIEF, MDMA etc where one will.have great learning and experience related to their field.

Tiss provides 100 per cent placement. Numbers of government and non governmen as well as corporates comes for the placement it's depends upon now ones talents and interest where one is willing to go and ability to get brakes the particular organization interview

Gender ration you will.find more girls then boys which is true girls are more supported and powers given to them equally as boys do get. Workshop are being conducted with the help of professors who Kuch give the chance to other courses student to know about other courses and studies. There is CASH committee in the college that works for the non tolerance and gender issues that empower women.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are awesome made by the experts and are fully maintained by the maintainer. Hostels very from senior to junior , as senior gets 2 rooms or 3 or 4 rooms hostel well.junior gets 4 rooms or hall where around 20 students dwell. Food of the Tiss is awesome and are highly hygienic food with a very cheap rate.

Yes , we use to have alumni meeting every year where they guides us for the jobs and skills to be developed while facing and applying for jobs

Exam Structure

There is total 4 semester. In which field work, lab practicals , research and paper exam are included Labs are highly modernised and are sufficient to provide all the chance to use equally Library is very technical and provide every kind of details one weekend for. So this all helps student to prepare one for the examination and library and labs are open 24 hrs so that student can study while.night Exams are scheduled in such a way that it will never look hectic

Admission

First we have to give a online TISSNET exam online of 100 marks , then after qualifying for particular subject which one have opted have to face group discussion or GI and then pereonal interview, after that adding all these marks Cut off is made and merit list is been prepared by the TISS. After the merit list is done all the student will get the results in this mail id that one has provided in his Tiss form. After qualifying in each round you one have to go under medical test and then one will get the admission. Administrator are very supportive will help one in each and every steps with proper guidance.

Faculty

Minimum qualifications for Faculty member are PH.D so all are highly educated and experienced one. The kind of knowledgeand experience they have you will never find anywhere else, therefore Tiss is the 2nd best social sciences college of India. Faculty will help.you to build your strength and will.encourage you whatever you wants to do they are very good by nature and helping hand
