Remarks

Best colleges for Social Work, good environment, good location, one of the top colleges in India, well-educated professors, diversity in college, recommended by friends and family, the course I opted for (Disability studies and action) is only available at TISS

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is amazing. It is well developed and organized, faculties are well-informed and educated. We have field work every week where we are placed in certain organizations for our exposure which give in depth knowledge and experience as well in the field.

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Placement Experience

I am in the final year so not much idea about this but placements are quite good, with good salaries.

College Events

It’s Really fun. There are no restrictions as such, full safety and Mumbai being a safe city is a lot more advantage. There are cultural functions happening almost everyday and it’s too much fun. You get through college with friends and ever friendly faculty

Placement Experience:

Plans after getting the degree is to build a career in corporate law. Many corporate firms like Bajaj Capital, Bajaj Auto and others come to recruit students. Placements still I feel are less compared to SLS Pune as we are compared to that and here we lose badly.

The campus does give a good number of internship and placement opportunities, definitely there's always scope for improvement. A lot of students also end up applying outside the college to get a headstart on the placement season.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.

The Best College Campus

Remarks:

Yes, there is no specific place where we get to know that whether the college is open or not on a specific day like the day which has been declared closed by the government. The college doesn’t provide this facility for us. We have to move all towards our home to the college to get this thing.
