Sir M Visvesvaraya Institute of Management Studies and Research (SVIMS) was started by the National Kannada Education Society (NKES), a 70 plus-year-old educational Institution in the year 2010. The Institute has been ranked at 3^rd Top Emerging B-School by B-School Survey 2018. It is a private institute that offers a 2-year full-time AICTE approved PGDM and MMS program affiliated to Mumbai University. Admissions to the courses are based on the marks secured in the entrance exam required as per the course. 

SVIMS campus at Wadala West, in the heart of Mumbai city, has a state of art, corporate-style infrastructure. The Institute has highly experienced faculty members from JBIMS, IIMs, and other reputed institutes. SVIMS has organized various international immersion programs in Dubai, Thailand, South Africa, Istanbul, and Singapore.

SVIMS Admission

Candidates seeking admission to the Sri M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Management Studies and Research must fulfill the eligibility criteria as per the course. The selection process for each course is, however, different and needs to clear any one of the entrance exams: ATMA, CAT, GMAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, etc. Tabulated below are the names of the exams accepted by the Institute to offer admission in the respective course:
