A good and honest review of Du Sol

Likes

I liked the flexible timing of the classes.
The campus is middle in the nature and it comprehend the overall studying experience

Dislikes

There is also some indisciplined students who do ragging with weak kids and lower semester students
The boys college is apart from girls college both have seprate colleges

Fees and Financial Aid:

I took admission in Du Sol this year and my programme is b.com and the total fee I paid was Rs8970/- yearly including the study material and tution fee. My friend opted for bba in digital marketing in Du Sol and paid the fee of Rs9200/-. The fee structure of Du Sol has increased compared to last year.

My college review

Likes

Teachers and faculty are good and teachers are very supportive .
Quality of infrastructure is good and campus is also nice .

Dislikes

Checking system was not proper .It should be improved .
In some colleges while examinations there is no facility at that time .

Fees and Financial Aid:

For the first year I paid ?8870 and same for all the years . There is no facility for tuition and other things .In ?8870 books are also available. For bcom honors the one year payment is ?9370. Scholarships are also provided by them such as if a student score a 8 or above 8 cgpa then he/she will get scholarship .

DU SOL my experience

Likes

It depends on you whether you want to go to college for study
There is no problem of short attendance in this

Dislikes

In this, you can study your college at any location, even far away
Teachers do not pay proper attention to the students in the classes

My Life at SOL

Likes

As my course was an open course, I was allowed complete freedom about what to do with the rest of my time. I used that time to apply for a course that would help me in my future career growth and development.
The course was extremely cheap and affordable and allowed me to save a lot of expenses

Dislikes

The faculty and other staff members were not quite attentive and responsive to the students needs
The future growth prospects of this course are extremely limited

The Complete Yearly Fees I paid was around 10,000 including all the other fees. My Batchmates all paid similar amounts. My Course was a Open Course in which many fees such as lab fees, and other on site or infrastructure related fees were omitted.

Likes

Students and senior are helpful. There are many telegram channel where they help each other
You get nearby examination center within delhi. If you are residence of delhi

Dislikes

If you are not from delhi, you have to come to delhi for examinations for examination.

Fees and Financial Aid:

If you want to pursue other certification courses with your graduation then you can go for this university. Every university have both pros and cons. Girls and boys both have separate examination centers.

Honest Answer For Sol Students

Likes

As a SOL student i don't have much experience about activites held in college on daily basis. I am not used to that life that much but from my few moments there i have felt that the infrastructure and management is really fair enough.
School of Open learning also provide new skill courses time to time for students so that we can boost out learning experience.

Dislikes

The website of school of open learning really need to upgrade their software, as the technology increasing they should also cop up with that advancement.
The online classes are really poor qualities you cannot able to study from them, also teachers lags most of the time so its best just go to your align centres or study from any other paid coachings.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Hi I am Abhishek, I am 19 years old and pursuing my B.Com degree from School of Open Learning at Delhi University. The fees structure according to SOL, it is divided into 3 installments which we need to submit every year. On my first year of College i paid the amount of Rs 7,200 which includes all the fees like admssion fee, registration fees and books fees. On my second it increase upto Rs 8,000 which is more than the previous fee which i paid on my first year. Now for my 3rd year the fees will also increase upto 9,000. I don't have any friends who need other categories certificate to get in the college. So i cannot provide you a proper answer on that topic. School of open learning does not provide any type of scholarship if you are from General Category, and even if they i don't think i will get any of penny from it.... This is the honest answer i can give you for this question.

Likes

I liked that everyone can afford the courses in DU SOL
Conducted very well to distributing hard copy of study material to thousands of students on appointment basis to conduct exams very smoothly

Dislikes

I think Number of classes are very low , which should be increased
Updates regarding college sometimes missed due to no proper communication

Fees and Financial Aid:

I opt for SOL because , cutt off of general Category is very high that year and I also started my CA course along with college so focusing on my CA course I choose SOL .it is very economical. Average 4000 required in annually which includes exams fees, hard copy of study material online classes as well as offline classes weekly.

What its be like being a SOLDU student

Likes

Fees is affordable so we can easily afford the education here
Education is also good as it’s affiliated by Delhi University

Dislikes

Staff members are not supportive behaviour is not good with students
Delayed every time in declaring results many times we have to suffer because of that

Fees and Financial Aid:

You have to pay 5000 every year as an semester fee for 2 semester and there is no increase in fee and it will not increase it will remain same every year no tuition fee no lab fees no any other fees.

School of open learning ( DELHI UNIVERSITY )

Likes

Atmoshpher of college campus and main campus of school of open learing .They help lots of strudents ,
Atmosphere of the exam center was besta nd teacher were very polite and helpful .

Dislikes

There techinal amd query resoultion team . They did not listen and take immedatiate action on students query.
Campus of open learning was huge they take much tim to resolve query of students

Fees structure of School of Open learning ( DELHI UNIVERSITY ) is very budget friendly for every students . Feees of every courses of School of open learning is lie between 8000 to 15000 per year , its includes the examination fess and study material charges . School of open learning also provide schoolarship to Economic weaker students. Every SC , BC AND EWS students gets fees concention in there annnual fees every year . Sometime schoo of open learning also provide placements facility to there students . School of open learning also provide special facility to GIRLS students . School of open learning provide traing and placement garunity programme to girls students free of cost to there centres .

Canteen was clean . It’s too much hygienic.
Class was too bigger and spacious for the student .

Dislikes

Teacher was not good there they don’t care whether student studying or not ?
Faculty was not good they are not responsible for anything whatever children do .

Fee structure was Preety good. I mean everyone afford it it's like only 4000-5000rs only so it's too affordable for all of us or second thing if you want to do something else with this course you also do that .
