DU SOL Faculties : Students' Opinion

AI-Generated Summary based on 620 Reviews

The faculty at the college is highly regarded for their clarity in teaching and dedication, offering both practical and theoretical knowledge. Classes are primarily held on weekends, providing flexibility for working students. Despite being a distance learning program, faculty are accessible and supportive, offering doubt-clearing sessions and personalized guidance. The student-to-faculty ratio varies, with some instances being as high as 1:150, potentially limiting individual attention. Faculty members are well-qualified, often holding Ph.D.

or M.Phil degrees from renowned institutions. However, the interaction level can be inconsistent due to the distance learning format, with limited regular class attendance. The curriculum is aligned with industry standards, and exams are held twice annually, with internal assessments conducted online. Faculty are praised for their ability to simplify complex topics and aid in exam preparation, although some students noted occasional faculty absenteeism and a lack of engagement during classes.

Overall, the faculty contributes significantly to the students' academic experience by providing quality education and fostering a supportive learning environment.

If we talk about active members, then this includes teachers. Are active and supportive of many children I attend classes daily Tell me about my course, my course is B.Com with Economics In the first year, I got to study a total of 14 subjects.Out of which 7 subjects are available to study in the first semester. And that's how you get 7 in semester 2. Talking about the examination system, in that you have to give internal assessment every semester which is online and final exam, according to which marks are given. If you miss any exam due to any reason, you get a chance to appear in the exam in the next semester. You have to pass the internal assessment separately and pass the theory exam separately Whenever you will be considered to have cleared one semester

The faculty to student ratio is 1:10. Faculties are good in teaching and socializing, helps students not get awkward while speaking up. For me it's mrs. barkha jamwal who is assistant professor. Also to mention mr vishal sharma sir. There are exams each semester consistiong of 7 subjects. Almost every student clears the semester exams and those who can't clear, reattempts it in the the next semester

There are only one teacher for one subject for each semester which means total 7 teachers for close to 1000 students which takes faculty to student ratio to 7:1000 . Faculties are majorly freshers but there are some experienced teachers also like Rishi Taparia Sir he was very good . Difficulty of exams is easy same pattern of questions are conducted every year if pyqs for last few years are done then you can easily get above average marks . Course curriculum is very much updated I would it is most practical and fresh course in whole du model.
