Ramjas College Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Having interest in maths from school, I opted maths hons for graduation. Faculty here is very good, actually they are professors having PhD and some pursuing PhD so the their conceptual knowledge is amazing and hence students are fully satisfied here. We have semester based exams and it's difficulty level is moderate.

I choose this course because my interest in mathematic was high as compared to any other course offered by this college.. And I want to be part of du that's why I came here. Faculty members are not so cooperative when it comes to internal assessment because in government run colleges teachers are not afraid of anything they don't bother about life of students

In final year students become eligible for campus placements, There are LINKIN, SAMSUNG, TATA etc are major comapnies. Highest package of our clg is 8lakh to a student of Economics Hons. And average package is 3lak-4 lakh 10? of students get selected for college placemets. Now, it's my final year. So I am thinking about taking admisssion in masters in Mathematics.

I want to be a mathematician. So i will do msc in mathematics. That's why I chose this course. Faculty: student ratio =1:30 All the faculty is well mannered and have a class with them . All the professors have higher degrees with them . Their concepts are very clear and they have great skill of teaching in such a way that you can easily get the concept. 6 semesters are there and in every 5-6 months the semester exam wille be taken. It is so easy to pass if you study even in class only.

My reasons for choosing this college over others was the location where this college is located in center of North delhi. Other than that Ramjas College is among top 10 college in Delhi University. This college offers more liberty when it comes to exploring more and no hard fast rules in Ramjas College when it comes to attendence and attending every lecture. So , rules are more liberal in this college. Bad points which i want to mention are Placements that good as mostly students get offers from mass recruiter and hardly any product based companies visits campus. Admission process in this college is based on 12th grade and on the basis of 12th CBSE percentage , students gets shortlisted and counselling rounds , cut off based shortlisting starts from July. Reason of preferring this college over others is location where its located and reputation of the college. Carrers360 is one of website i referred before selecting this college.

From the 6th semester, students are eligible for campus selection. Many companies visit our college with various good offers. The highest package any student can grab is 10 lakh with a minimum is 3 to 4lakh.percentage of students receiving placements fully depends on their performance. For many years 30 to 40 percent of students have got it. I planned to get good placements and further build my career.

I have applied for my post graduation and i don't really know about the package given by the placement cells

I searched online for best colleges for bachelor of maths and I got to know about delhi university. So I researched and checked the rankings,fees and everything. I applied for delhi university and I got many choices but due to the great location,affordable fees,good department reviews,I decided to take admission in Ramjas

I have choosen Ramjas college because of it belongs to university of Delhi, and the certificate value of it. And also I have caught the reviews from my seniors about the department. So that I choose it. And I am currently in 2nd year also I have finished the first 2 semester with great marks.
