Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I love Maths, that's the reason I choose it. Everything around us have the equations of Maths. Faculty:student ratio was 1:25. Ramjas Faculty was awesome. Our deapartment head-Dr. Nidhi arora got the award of the best Mathematician of North campus of that year. There were tests on regular basis after the completion of every unit.

Internships Opportunities

4

Over the years, the students have undertaken summer internships in various sectors such as Consultancy, Finance, Marketing, HR, Software and Business Development at leading organisations including BCG, PwC, Deloitte, KPMG, EY, Airtel, NITI Aayog, Grofers, Coca-Cola, Colgate, Google, Hindustan Times, CBRE and Pepsico ... The following examples of academic program student learning outcomes come from a variety of academic programs across campus, and are organized in four broad areas: 1) contextualization of knowledge; 2) praxis and technique; 3) critical thinking; and, 4) research and communication

Placement Experience

3

In final year students become eligible for campus placements, There are LINKIN, SAMSUNG, TATA etc are major comapnies. Highest package of our clg is 8lakh to a student of Economics Hons. And average package is 3lak-4 lakh 10? of students get selected for college placemets. Now, it's my final year. So I am thinking about taking admisssion in masters in Mathematics.

Fees and Financial Aid

. Fees for DU BA courses range from INR 4800 to INR 21,000. DU B.Com fees range from INR 8000 to INR 30,000. And for science courses it's 10000 to 40000. There are Inspire Scholarship, in which 60k rupees are given per year.

Campus Life

3.5

There are Mecca fest of Hindu college, which is best all over the fests of DU. Basically fests are held in Jan-March. It's called fest season. Library has everything,if you are a insect of books, you get a feast there. Classrooms are quite good, In Ramjas, there are two building one is old building and the another is new block, If I rate then it's 6 & 9. There is a Gym in sports ground, college also has a volleyball ground, basketball ground, badminton court and a football too. We can play table tennis in the gym's ground floor.

Hostel Facilities

3

I'm each room there are two students.2 beds, one dressing table, two almirahs, two study tables with chairs are provided there.Ground floor is for boys, there are 120 seats for boys, 40 seats are for each year's boys. Girls have 1st floor, 80 seats are for girls. There are separate mess for boys and girls in hostel. There are four time meals in hostel,Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks and Dinner. Meals quality is quite good. Hostel accommodation is provided only to students admitted in Ramjas College as regular students and offered to those coming from outside Delhi For room Or PG, Vijay Nagar is quite affordable, If you are in Ramjas then Vijaynagar, for HansRaj and KMC Kamlanagar is good. Kamlanagar is little costly than Vijaynagar.

Admission

Eligibility criteria was your +2 marks. Like Ramjas first cut off for Mathematics was 98.50,I had 99.4 , so I got selected. At my tine, there was no cuet exam, but now we have to top CUET to get admission in North campus, DU.

Other Applied Colleges

Hindu college | B.Sc. Mathematics Hons.

Because the Mathematics department of Ramjas is one of the best in north campus.

Acharya Narendra Dev College - [ANDC], Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Biomedical Sciences)
Reviewed on Mar 3, 2026(Enrolled 2024)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course Biomedical Sciences is very interesting as well as challenging, it covers various fields of sciences and has great scope in terms of research. The course connects theory with real world applications in hospitals and research laboratories. A few examples would include, antibacterial testing, PFT, EMG, blood tests, which are commonly performed in hospitals. The course also helps us to pursue our hands in research further by providing us with hands on training for skills such as biostatistics, writing scientific literature, lab skills, etc. A few improvements that I would suggest is the removal of outdated testing methods and practicals from the curriculum that are not essential for the real world currently. The teaching methods are quite good and interesting. The exams are conducted at the end of each semester and are relevant to the curriculum. The practical exams test your knowledge of hands on experience that you've gained while doing lab work. Theory exams are of 3 hours as per usual and test your theoretical knowledge from books and classes mainly.

The average placements is around 5 to 6 lpa. However, a lot students here prefer masters and so a very few take placements, we have a entreprenuerial lab here which allows students to start their own startups and a lot of companies do visit in campus and hire students also. However, my plans would be pursuing for post grad entrance exams if I did'nt get placement.
