Mithibai College of Arts Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placement cell is quite good. Students are eligible for placement in their last semester of course. There are many great companies that come like JP MORGAN, EY, KPMG. Average package of the college is 5-6 lacs but there are high packages according to the skills of the student. I'd like to go for master's after BMS. Different kind of roles are there for students to apply according to their interests in all the fields like finance, marketing, HR, consulting. There is training provided by the college for placemens and there is personal training for individual company interviews if required by students.

The curriculum is designed in such a way that it helps in future realistic warld and tge whole syllabus is very helpfull in making the student understand how actual things work and what is necessary in the world

The English Department faculty is renowned in the entirety of Mithibai. The course curriculum is adequate, so I wouldn't want to change much about it. We have carefully planned out the teaching methods employed in our classrooms every year. One of our teachers, for example, would like us to read the material one or two days prior to the day we would discuss it on.

The college had a Campus placements cell for handling campus placements.In the Campus usually Big4 Accounting firms like Pwc, Deloitte, KPMG, EY used to hire the graduates.The average package used to be Rs. 6 lakhs per annum . I was pursuing CA Articleship at the time of graduation hence I plan to complete CA after graduation

I've B.A (Psychology and philosophy) as my course. According to NEP you can do majors in psychology from 2nd year onwards and this will be decided on the basis of your result. Only 1st 90 students will be able to secure psychology seat and out of this 1st 45 students will haved aided course and 2nd half will have unaided course i.e they have to pay more than the 1st half but the faculty would be the same and the class is also same for both the halves. Also the course structure is nice and interesting enough.

this was like a base course for me. my friend influenced me to take this course to be honest ????. it prepares us quite well for real world. application. teaching methods i would say they should try making it more interactive. their difficulty level is medium.

This course is widely known to enter in the financial world which is suitable for all the students who are pursuing CA,CFA,CMA etc. The cirrculum is vast and it does not solely rely on theoritical concepts. The only area which needs an improvement is the need to inculcate more practial knowledge. The difficulty level of exam is mid

as of now I am in my first year so I can't give the exact info on that but mithibai does offer great placement opportunity and it is mandatory from 2nd year to doban internship which j personally think is great as it adds up to my CV

Placements society of college is just a decade old and still top companies like Zues Capital, Barclays, and Icici bank are among the top colleges that have become a part of ecosystem where 30-40 students is what each companies hires every year. Not many though as too many sections and 500+ students means getting placed even half the students can be a task where Mithibai placement percentage is 60 odd percentage.

Percentage wise i think half the students dont even apply for placements and from the half that apply, i think 60% students get placements. Sadly yes, but percentage is less but the kind of companies that come and placements that we get is next level.
