The hostel provided by the college is way too expensive for a middle-class student. Its fee is around 250000/year. But I have taken a hostel which is at a distance from college at Kandivali east. So you can also rent a PG and stay with your friends.
No hostel facility is provided by the college which is why PGs become the best option for students to accommodate themselves if they belong to Outstations.Being a Mumbaikar, I used to up-down through the local and that was comfortable for me. Most of the students who joined PGs , decided to live on a triple/4 person sharing basis so that they can get settled quickly and it also helped them to get living facility at a very low price.
College doesn't provide any hostel facility. But there are plenty of hostels and pgs near the college. The college does not provide any hostel facilities. The private PG/Hostels are all around the college with amazing facilities. My Hostel costs 4.5 lacs per year with all the facilities, including three meals, WiFi, Washing Machine, AC, TV, Personal Washrooms, and good house staff. Mithibai has Mumba's largest canteen with all the cuisines at reasonable prices. An Indian cuisine meal starts with 40/-.
Mumbai University does not provide hostel facilities with their colleges one needs to apply for private hostels rpgs the average cost staying near to the college is around 20000per month.do hostels are very much service ful it provides you with all the services clothing dry cleaning three times meal a day.
I stay in a rented flat whose rent varries from 10-25k. It depends on the area and accommodation, so there are 1 bhk, 2bhk and further and one can share the rooms or stay on single occupancy and the rent differs in all these aspects
Unfortunately the college does not have college facility. But there are private hostels nearby with great facilities available. It provides you all the facilities AC, Tv, all time meals, wifi, fridge etc. Usually they have 4 sharing, 2 sharing and single. It is not that difficult to available the hostels but yeah its way too costly from rest of the cities
I was in PG and for that I paid 5000 per month. In my PG we have to cook food, they provide only a single room nothing else. We have to manage all the other thing like food. I am sharing the room with my friend and the rent for that is arount 5000 per head excluding the fooding and other things.
Yeah, I opted for a hostel it was religious in which only our community people allowed hostel rooms quite good we had a sharing room of 3 people there are only limited seats in the hostel about approximately 150 seats. If anyone off for PG approximately 10000 which is average.
Hostel facilities can be availed easily around the college as there are a number of hostel providers. Hostel facilities vary from one provider to another. The basic facilities that they provide includes a bed, a personal almirah, joint bathroom (in most cases). The only thing costly in Mumbai is staying. The cost of a hostel or a PG is around the same and can cost one person almost 3 lakh a year.
There are no hostel facility available in the college but in the vicinity there are many hostels ,with an avg rate of 1.5 lacs per annum. One general solutions are many hostel student gets divided in a group of 4 and rent a 1 bhk flat and divide the total rent which makes it easier too loose their burden and even gives them a luxury for living. The average rent for 1 bhk flat is 35kINR
